Hebrew translation:

111. וְעַל הַסּוֹד הַזֶּה יֵשׁ שְׁנֵי הָרִים, שֶׁכָּתוּב (דברים יא) וְנָתַתָּה אֶת הַבְּרָכָה עַל הַר גְּרִזִּים וְאֶת הַקְּלָלָה עַל הַר עֵיבָל, כְּנֶגֶד שְׁתֵּי הַדְּרָגוֹת הַלָּלוּ. וְעַל כֵּן זֶה נִקְרָא אָרוּר וְזֶה נִקְרָא בָּרוּךְ. וְשִׁמְעוֹן וְלֵוִי הֵם מִצַּד הַדִּין הַקָּשֶׁה, וּמִצַּד הַדִּין הַקָּשֶׁה הֶחָזָק יוֹצֵא רֹגֶז שֶׁמְּקֻלָּל.
112. וּבֹא וּרְאֵה, מִצַּד הַדִּין הַקָּשֶׁה יוֹצֵא רֹגֶז לִשְׁנֵי צְדָדִים – אֶחָד שֶׁהִתְבָּרֵךְ וְאֶחָד שֶׁהִתְקַלֵּל, אֶחָד בָּרוּךְ וְאֶחָד אָרוּר. כְּמוֹ כֵן מֵהַצַּד שֶׁל יִצְחָק יָצְאוּ שְׁנֵי בָנִים – אֶחָד מְבֹרָךְ, וְאֶחָד שֶׁהִתְקַלֵּל לְמַעְלָה וּלְמַטָּה. זֶה נִפְרַד לְצִדּוֹ וְזֶה נִפְרַד לְצִדּוֹ. זֶה דִּיּוּרוֹ בָּאָרֶץ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, וְזֶה דִּיּוּרוֹ בְּהַר שֵׂעִיר, שֶׁכָּתוּב (בראשית כד) אִישׁ יֹדֵעַ צַיִד אִישׁ שָׂדֶה. זֶה מְקוֹמוֹ בְּמָקוֹם שֶׁל מִדְבָּר, חָרְבָּה וּשְׁמָמָה, וְזֶה יֹשֵׁב אֹהָלִים, וְהַכֹּל כְּמוֹ שֶׁצָּרִיךְ.
113. וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ שְׁתֵּי דְרָגוֹת הֵן – בָּרוּךְ וְאָרוּר, זֶה לְצִדּוֹ וְזֶה לְצִדּוֹ. מִזֶּה יוֹצְאוֹת כָּל הַבְּרָכוֹת שֶׁל הָעוֹלָמוֹת לְמַעְלָה וּלְמַטָּה וְכָל הַטּוֹב וְכָל הָאוֹר וְכָל גְּאֻלָּה וְכָל הַצָּלָה, וּמִזֶּה יוֹצְאוֹת כָּל הַקְּלָלוֹת וְכָל חֶרֶב וְכָל דָּם וְכָל שְׁמָמָה וְכָל הָרָעוֹת וְכָל הַטֻּמְאָה שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם.

Zohar Ki Tavo

The Torah connects us to the Tree of Life. (Proverbs 3:18) ” עֵץ-חַיִּים הִיא, לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ “, “She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her” so how come we read about so many horrible curses and diseases in the portion of Ki Tavo. Since the Torah is only good then we should look at the 98 curses as blessings.

If someone throws rocks at you, you will try to avoid them as much as possible but if you know that those stones have diamonds inside each one of them then you’ll ask for more. You will hold on to them and won’t let go because diamonds are very precious. Ki Tavo conceals many diamonds and we’ll dig them out a little later.

The Israelites are about to enter the Land of Milk and Honey and Moses tells them that they will become a nation. Then he selects 6 tribes to go on the mount of blessings, Gerizim, and 6 tribes to go on the mount of Ebal, for the curses. Then the Levites start to recite a set of twelve curses loudly. All of those curses begin with the word ” אָרוּר “, cursed, and ends with ” וְאָמַר כָּל-הָעָם, אָמֵן “,”and all the nation said, Amen”.

The sum of the first letters from each word is 32. The sum of the last letters is 320. The sum of the middle letters is 151, which is equal to ” מקוה “, “Mikveh” (the place of ritual bath that cleanses us from spiritual negativity).

The word ” אָמֵן “, Amen, is a very important spiritual tool. It is our concealed diamond. Diamond in Hebrew is ” יהלום ” with same numerical value 91 as Amen, אמן. As we know the word Amen creates unification between the Light יהוה and the Vessel אדני. The curses were ‘thrown’ on the nation but they treated them as diamonds, and accepted them with the word Amen. Every Amen that we say creates an angel that carries the Light down. Angel in Hebrew is ” מלאך ” and it is also equal to 91.

God brings the Israelites to the Promised Land and tells them (27:9) ” הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה נִהְיֵיתָ לְעָם “, “Today, you became a nation”. Now they are on their own, standing by the spiritual gates of The Land.
Josef, who is the chariot for the Sefirah of Yesod, is buried next to the two mountains. When Abraham came first to the land that place was also his first stop.
This is the beginning of the nation and the connection to the Land. God is letting them start their correction process but not before He injects the vaccine against negativity into their consciousness.

The Levites are the ones that served in The Holy. Whatever they did was related to holiness and their strong voice carried the Light. The curses are the injection of Light that the Israelites needed before they started their journey as a nation in the Holy Land.

Some communities have the tradition of reading this part of the curses in the Torah in lower or whispering voice. This is a big mistake. It should be the opposite. Thinking that the Torah has something negative in it is very wrong.

The Levites said the curses in loud voice (27:14). If we hear the curses in clear and loud voice then we can benefit greatly from it.
KiTavo is always read just before Rosh Hashanah and it gives us the best preparation for the two days of Judgment. The count of curses is 98 and it is equivalent to the word ” צח ” (pure clean), and also to the word ” סלח ” “forgive”. Forgiveness is an important cleansing action. If we hurt another person even by mistake, we should ask for forgiveness otherwise that negativity stays with us and turns into judgment. If another person hurts us we hold negative feelings about him. When we forgive, we cleanse that too.
It is in our best interest to be pure and forgive.
