Pinchas 267-269
Four Klipot are registered in different body parts. They are mentioned in the vision of Ezekiel with the names A stormy wind, a Great cloud, Flaring fire and a Great Brightness.
Rabbi Ashlag in “the Ladder” commentary explains that these Klipot were created during the formation of the Tree of Life, the ten Sefirot and the 4 worlds.
With the process of Tzimtzum, restriction, the light distanced himself from a space that was assigned to create our universe and the spiritual worlds.
The first tzimtzum created lack of Light and the first ‘Klipa’ was created. Each time a lack of light is identified a curtain and klipa exists.
The Ten Sefirot are vessels for the light of the Creator. In order to give them different ‘identities’ (=names) The Endless created a process of evolving state of lack and fulfillment that formed the Tree of Life.
Most of you may have learned that the Sefirot are light but it is not completely accurate. They have a name so they are vessels. Each of them has a different type of vessel and therefore reveals the light that they contain differently. The Sefira of Chessed is a vessel and the light that is revealed there is called Light of Chassadim.
