Daily Zohar # 1432 – Ki Tisa – Share to elevate your blessings

Zohar Ki Tisa
Exodus 30:12
” “When you take the census of the people of Israel, then each shall give a ransom for his life to YHVH when you number them, that there be no plague among them when you number them.”
The Portion of Ki Tisa begins with this verse. God instructs Moses to conduct a count of the people – not by head count but by the money they give, so no harm will come to them.
The Zohar explains that the Israelites received blessings when they gave the money and then again when all the money was counted.
The blessing doesn’t come on things that are counted, because counting is an aspect that projects limitations. The blessings that may exist on it leaves and attracts the negative side. This exists only on the level of Malchut where everything has good and bad aspects.
Sharing is an act that creates continuation like the light. It breaks limitations and draws blessings.
The name of the portion ‘Ki Tisa’, ‘כי תשא’, literally means ‘when you elevate..’ the heads of the children of Israel. That elevation could be done only when the people make a sharing connection with the light.
God doesn’t need Moses to count the people for his records because he knows every soul in existence. When he asked for the counting of the Isarelites he was creating an opening for the people to share and receive his blessings.
