Psalms 150
Praise YH |
Praise God in his Holiness;
praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the Shofar, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with sounding of Teruah. |
The whole soul, praise YH.
Praise YH. |
The Zohar reveals to us and with the help of the Ari we learn that the day will come and all the tools of sounds will connect the worlds of Action, Asiah, Malchut, to the world of Formation, Yetzirah, the spiritual realm, Zeir Anpin.
Praise הַלְל V ו YH יה. The famous praise Hallelujah reveals the process of praising God. Our ‘praises’ are the tools to connect to the upper levels.
Praise is הלל with numerical value of 65, which is the same as ADNY אדני, the name of God at the level of Malchut. The following letter is Vav that connects us to Zeir Anpin and the central column. It is our only way to ascend up to Chokmah and Binah that are represented by the letters YH יה.
This Hebrew word is so powerful that by divine guidance it didn’t have common translation to keep the sound of it in an uncorrupted state. Like the word Amen, the pronunciation of Hallelu-Yah is vital to make proper connection.
With the ten ‘Praises’, all the Sefirot are represented in this Psalms number 150. It is not a coincidence that 10 times 15 for YH יה is equal to 150.
The Zohar says that with the sound of the harp, בְּנֵבֶל we elevate Malchut which is represented by the letters בנ, numerical value 52 for the name YHVH. The letters בל with value 32 represent Zeir Anpin and the light of the Torah. When both are connected in the central column the light will come down.
The last verse כֹּל הַנְּשָׁמָה, תְּהַלֵּל has the abbreviation of כהת, which has the numerical value of 425 for משיח בן דוד Mashiach son of David (plus the Kolel).
כהת represents the force and the state when all negativity is removed from existence.
