Daily Zohar # 2265 – Noah – Immortal generation
.

Zohar Noah
Genesis 6:9
“These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.”
The Torah that follow tells us the names of Noah’s descendants, who came out of the Ark.
In Genesis 5:1 we read “This is the book of the generations of Adam” followed by description of Adam’s descendants.
If Adam had children in the Garden of Eden they would have lived forever and the Light in Malchut would have been as Light of Zeir Anpin. The sin brough mortality to the world and generations of living to have continuation of life in the world of Malchut.
The Zohar reveals that if the Israelites were to receive the Torah without the sin of the Golden Calf then they wouldn’t need to create new generations because the first Torah that Moses broke would have given them the state of immortality.
The sin allowed the other side to get mixed with them. The Torah of immortality couldn’t connect to them in such impure state.
Lesson:
When we conduct our actions by following the ways of the Torah and with 100% purity then we receive light from the higher levels and actions have the aspect of immortal state.
We may have lost the opportunity to be a generation of immortals but we can achieve personal merit for immortality at the time of the Resurrection if we focus on doing our best to follow the Torah and Zohar to keep us in a pure state.
