Tikkun 22 – 40
Zechariah 2:17
“ הַס כָּל-בָּשָׂר, מִפְּנֵי יְהוָה–כִּי נֵעוֹר, מִמְּעוֹן קָדְשׁוֹ. ”
“Be silent, all flesh, before YHVH; for He is aroused out of His holy habitation. ”
הַס, the word for “silent”, has numerical value of 65, same as אדני, which is the name of God in Malchut. Also 65 is for הכלי, ‘The Vessel’ and היכל, ‘palace’.
YHVH will arise from ‘his sleep’, which is a state we keep him in exile when we are disconnected from him. He will come down to the lower palace and fill the vessel, Malchut, with the light of Redemption.
Isaiah 54:7
“בְּרֶגַע קָטֹן, עֲזַבְתִּיךְ; וּבְרַחֲמִים גְּדֹלִים, אֲקַבְּצֵךְ. ”
“For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great compassion will I gather you.”
‘Smallness’, in spiritual terms means, a vessel with little light. The ‘small moment’ is when we shrink our vessel from the light.
The verse from Isaiah’s prophecy tells us that when the time comes, YHVH will send his right hand, which is Chessed. With this energy of compassion and mercy YHVH will bring all the Israelites back under his light.
The explanation to that is in the words ‘בְרַחֲמִים גְּדֹלִים’ , ‘great compassion’. The word for ‘great’ is גדולה, which is a different name to Chessed.
King David revealed the names of the Sefirot in the Bible just before he gave his son, Solomon, all the tools to build the Holy Temple. He used the word ‘Greatness’, גדולה for the Sefira of Chessed.
1 Chronicles 29:11 “לְךָ יְהוָה הַגְּדֻלָּה וְהַגְּבוּרָה וְהַתִּפְאֶרֶת, וְהַנֵּצַח וְהַהוֹד”
“For you, YHVH, is the GREATNESS (Chessed) , and the power (Gevurah), and the glory (Tiferet), and the victory (Netzach), and the majesty (Hod)….”
The Zohar reveals another great thing about the Final Redemption. It connects to the Holy name for Zeir Anpin, which is the spelled name of YHVH in the form of יוד-הא-ואו-הא.
The first two letters יה is יוד-הא and numerical value 26, the third letter ו is ואו with numerical value 13. Together, it is 39 as the word טל, ‘dew’ which is the secret of the resurrection of the dead.
The Zohar also connects the Final Redemption to the 72 names. The first sequence is והו, which connects us to the beginning of the world of Tikkun as it appears in the initials of the first three words of Genesis 2:1. והו for וַיְכֻלּוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ
Then the Zohar points to the middle of the 72 names (position #37), אני, which relates to the Central Column, “the trunk of the tree of life”. The third sequence is והו and it is the beginning of the last third of the 72 names table. The initials of the three names are והו אני והו = ואו and it refers to YHYV’s 13 attributes of mercy and compassion.
