#109
When the Israelites celebrate their holidays with happiness, praising the Holy One Blessed be He and setting special meals, the angels ask the Holy One; “why do the Israelites celebrate the supreme guest that comes from the Holy place that is yours?”
He answered them; “They are worthy of inviting my guest for two reasons, one is because they bond with me and the second is that they are called Holy”.
Jeremiah 2:3 “קֹדֶשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל לַיהוָה…” “Israel is holiness to YHVH
For that reason, the Israelites can invite the guest from the Holy place.
Then the angels opened and said;
Psalms 144:15
“אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם שֶׁכָּכָה לּוֹ אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם שֶׁיֲהֹוָה אֱלֹהָיו.”
“Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is YHVH!”

#110
Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot are the three holidays that are invited from the Holy.
Exodus 31:14
“וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֶת הַשַּׁבָּת כִּי קֹדֶשׁ הִוא לָכֶם”
“You shall keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you”
Rabbi Aba asked why Shabbat that is holy, is not invited like the three holidays?
The answer is that Shabbat inherits the holy without invitation, while the holidays are invited to receive the holiness.
On Shabbat Malchut and Zeir Anpin go up all the way to Father and Mother and become like them. This is the aspect of inheriting the Holiness from Father and Mother.
The holidays do not connect to Father and Mother but to the level of Israel Saba and Tevuna. This level doesn’t reach the upper three of Father and Mother and because of that, they need to be invited and receive the holiness from Father and Mother. Then they are called Holy.
Shabbat is higher and holy because it can go above the level of the Holidays.

Lesson;
Shabbat is important in our souls like a beating heart is. We need this connection every week to bring ‘holiness’ into our vessel and open ourselves for greater spiritual growth. It is the time when the Holy One Blessed be He gives us access to his holy place and provides sustenance for us in this world.
Shabbat helps us keep the bond with the Holy One Blessed be He with the reading of the Torah. It protects the children of Israel and provides nourishments for the whole world.

The holidays are like special supplements that affect the whole year and that is what makes them significantly important.

The daily studies prepare our vessels for the Light of Shabbat when we can fill our vessels with the Light of Binah. Because Malchut and Zeir Anpin go up to Binah, we become part of this process with our consciousness and meditation. That is why the study of the Zohar on Shabbat is considered a thousand times more than the regular days. During the weekdays, we prepare our vessel and on Shabbat, we receive the light. Both are equally important.
If one doesn’t have access to Torah reading on Shabbat, he needs to read the Torah and home and study more, especially Zohar.
