Zohar Behaalotcha

#80
Lamentation 4:22
“The punishment of your iniquity has been completed, O daughter of Zion; He will exile you no longer. But He will punish your iniquity, O daughter of Edom; He will expose your sins!”
The daughter of Zion is the children of Israel in Malchut. The verse above tells us that we will get to the point of the end of the Tikun and get closer to the Light.
When one sees dates, the fruit of palm trees, in his dream, it means that he paid for all his iniquities. The word for ‘תמרים’ ‘dates’, is constructed from ‘תם’ and ‘מרים’ that means ‘end of bitter’. The Tikun process is ‘bitter’ and we can make it sweeter before the end.

#81
Exodus 15:25
“So he cried out to YHVH, and YHVH showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them,”

The Torah is a Tree of Life for those who hold fast to her. Whoever makes efforts in the study of Torah that is a ‘Tree’, sweetens his iniquities and the Holy One Blessed be He forgive him.

#82
The days will come when it will be like the Exodus, which is said there “and Joseph and all his brothers and that generation died”. And in the last exile there is no death, but poorness that has the aspect of death because a poor man is considered as dead.
Zephania 3:12
“I will also leave in your midst an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of YHVH.”
The ‘poorness’ is the aspect of feeling the lack of Light in one’s life. The prophet says that before the coming of Mashiach, the people will feel the lack of God’s presence in this world.
It’s not about the amount of money a person has in his bank accounts but how deep is his feeling and desire for the Light of the Holy One blessed be He.
The ‘rich’ people are those who connect to their material values in this world, ignoring the Torah that can bring them life.
2 Samuel 22:28
“You will save the poor people; But Your eyes are on the haughty, that You may bring them down.”

King David tells us to pray as poor to come before God.
Psalms 102:1
“A Prayer of the poor, and pours out his complaint before YHVH. Hear my prayer, O YHVH, And let my plea come to You.”

Lesson;
Dreams talk to us in a language of spiritual symbols that Torah and Kabbalah scholars can interpret correctly for proper manifestation.
Symbols, words, and letters have different spiritual expressions in dreams. Most people get confused by the literals of the dream.
This Zohar taught us how to interpret dates and a tree in dreams and that the study of the Torah is our connection to the Tree and Life at the time of Mashiach.
