Hebrew translation:

וַהֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהוּ הַחֲבֵרִים, שָׁחֹר נְקֵבָה לַלֹּבֶן, וְהַתּוֹרָה מִשָּׁם הִיא לֹבֶן מִבִּפְנִים וְשָׁחֹר מִבַּחוּץ, וּלְמַעְלָה הָאָב וְהָאֵם אָמְרוּ עַל הָעַמּוּד הָאֶמְצָעִי וּשְׁכִינָתוֹ נַעֲשֶׂה אָדָם בְּצַלְמֵנוּ כִּדְמוּתֵנוּ, הָעַמּוּד הָאֶמְצָעִי בְּלֹבֶן וְהַשְּׁכִינָה בְּשָׁחֹר, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב שְׁחוֹרָה אֲנִי וְנָאוָה. וּבֹא תִרְאֶה, הָאֵם הָעֶלְיוֹנָה הָיְתָה שְׁחוֹרָה לִפְנֵי אוֹתוֹ אוֹר שֶׁלְּפָנִים מִמֶּנָּה, אֲבָל כְּשֶׁיּוֹרֶדֶת לְמַטָּה נִרְאִים גְּוָנֶיהָ בְּחָמֵשׁ סְפִירוֹת, שֶׁהֵם חֲמֵשֶׁת עַנְפֵי הָאִילָן, זְרוֹעַ יָמִין וּשְׂמֹאל וְהַגּוּף וּשְׁתֵּי שׁוֹקַיִם, הַצַּדִּיק נוֹטֵל כָּל הַגְּוָנִים. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב וּרְאִיתִיהָ לִזְכֹּר בְּרִית עוֹלָם, וּרְאִיתִיהָ בִּגְוָנִים מְאִירִים, וְכָךְ הַשְּׁכִינָה הַתַּחְתּוֹנָה נִרְאֵית בַּחֲמִשָּׁה גְוָנִים מִמַּטָּה לְמַעְלָה, וְאֵלּוּ הַגְּוָנִים שֶׁל שֵׁשׁ הַסְּפִירוֹת, וַעֲלֵיהֶם נֶאֱמַר וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ וְעִזִּים, וּכְמוֹ שֶׁנִּכְלָלִים כָּל הַגְּוָנִים מִמַּעְלָה לְמַטָּה בַּצַּדִּיק, כָּךְ נִכְלָלִים כָּל הַגְּוָנִים מִמַּטָּה לְמַעְלָה בָּעַמּוּד הָאֶמְצָעִי.

Tikkun 56 – 12

White color is male aspect because it reflects all colors. Black color is female because it absorbs all colors.

The Torah is white from the inside and this is represented by the parchment it is written on. The black letters of the Torah represent the ‘outside’.

The central column, Zeir Anpin, is white and the Shechina, Malchut is black as it said in the Song of Songs 1:5 “שְׁחוֹרָה אֲנִי וְנָאוָה”, “’I am black, but comely…”

The supernal mother, Binah, is the aspect of black because its light is not revealed directly. When the light of Binah comes down, it is revealed through the six Sefirot of Zeir Anpin in different colors. The righteous, which is the aspect of Yessod, hold all the colors and reveal them.
