Daily Zohar # 4804 – Vayakhel – Experience Gan Eden on Shabbat

#182
The World to Come (Olam HaBa), which is Binah, Is the palace (היכל, Heichal) for that supreme point, אhat is, for the Upper Chokhmah. When Binah rises and gathers the Patriarchs (Chessed, Gevurah, and Tiferet) under her wings to crown them above, everything is called Shabbat. Thus, when the Patriarchs become adorned above within the Upper Point (Chokhmah), they are called Shabbat. And when the Lower Point (Malchut) becomes adorned with the Patriarchs, she is also called Shabbat.
#183
This lower point, which is Malchut, when she ascends and becomes visible, that is, when she receives Chokhmah, which is called vision, and she becomes adorned with supernal Mochin, Then joy is found above and below, And all the worlds rejoice. And on this night of Shabbat, this point (Malchut) expands with her lights, and she spreads her wings over the world, and all other rulers (forces of impurity) are removed, and protection is established over the world.
#184
Then, an extra soul (Ruach) is added to Israel, to each and every person. And with this additional soul, all sorrow and anger are forgotten, and nothing exists—above or below—except joy. This Ruach that descends and is added to the people of the world, when it descends, it bathes in the fragrances of Gan Eden, then it comes down and rests upon the holy people of Israel. Fortunate are they when this spirit is awakened within them.
Notes:
On Shabbat, an additional level of soul is given to every Jew, elevating their spiritual consciousness. This higher soul erases sorrow and anger, allowing only joy to remain in both the upper and lower worlds. Before descending, this soul “bathes in the fragrances of Gan Eden,” signifying that Shabbat brings a taste of Gan Eden. The level of supernal joy a person experiences on Shabbat depends on their ability to awaken and receive these extra levels of soul.
This Zohar section teaches that Shabbat is a unique spiritual gift, a time when the soul expands beyond its normal limits, allowing a person to experience a higher state of consciousness, peace, and joy.
