Zohar Naso
When the night falls, the left is awakened and judgments is spread in the world. People in their sleep ‘taste’ the aspect of death. The Malchut connects to the left that embraces her. The light is of Chokmah but without Chassadim, and that means judgments. This is the time to wake up for study and meditation to awaken Chassadim for unification of the Light and the Shechina.
When the day breaks and the Shechina is with Chassadim then this light of the morning increases in the world. The Zohar praises the one who gets up to study and makes the unification because he becomes part of the unification of the Light and the Shechina and benefits greatly from it. The light of Chessed follows him throughout the day.
In sleep state the soul ascends up and is examined for all of her actions during the day. Every action and every word is written in a book. The soul testifies on the actions and words of the person.
If the words that person used were related to the study of Torah and prayers then they break through the heavens to the highest places.
When the words are of negative type and evil speech, the words go up to a certain level where they are registered with all that is related to the impurities/sins caused by the negative words.
Psalms 32:2
“אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם–לֹא יַחְשֹׁב יְהוָה לוֹ עָוֹן; וְאֵין בְּרוּחוֹ רְמִיָּה”
“How blessed is the man to whom YHVH does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit!”
This verse praises the man who has purity and his soul testifies positively for him.
The lesson is simple and is a repetition of the one in DZ 1515 .
Everything we do and say must be positive.
