Zohar Shelach Lecha
Continued from previous DZ
Batya returns to the women and studies the Mitzvot of the Torah. They are all in the forms that were in this world dressed in light garments, like the garments of males, except that they do not illuminate as the garments of the males. The Mitzvot of the Torah, which were not able to be observed in this world, they study their aspects in the world above. All these women who sit with Pharaoh’s daughter, Batya, in her palace are called women of serenity because they didn’t experience the pain of gehennam.

In another palace, there is Serach the daughter of Asher, and several thousand and tens of thousands of women with her. Three times a day it is announced before her, here comes the image of Yosef Hatzadik. And she rejoices and goes out into one partition she has, and sees the light image of Joseph, and rejoices and bows down to him, and says Blessed is the day that I brought your message to my grandfather. And then she returns to the other women, and praises the Master of the world, and gives thanks to his name. Each one of them has joy from many places. And then they returned to study the Mitzvot of the Torah and their aspects.

The Zohar reveals the status of Serach, daughter of Asher. She was sent by the brothers to tell Jacob, her grandfather, that Joseph is still alive and he is in Egypt. For that message, Jacob blessed her with eternal life. She never died and entered the Garden of Eden without experiencing death. Serach was the one that helped Moses find the burial place of Joseph before they left Egypt.
