Zohar Shemot
Continued from previous DZ
The Zohar in this section suggests to a person to cut his throat before eating food from a person with evil eye.
We should be sensitive with from where and what comes inside our body, air, images, sounds and especially what we see and eat. Fast food and junk food come with negative energies because it is made to quickly satisfy the body and to make as much profits as possible. The employees are paid little and have very little or no joy in their work. That energy transfers to the food they serve. An unhappy waiter with attitude brings dangerous energy to the food and we should avoid eating the served food even if the restaurant is fancy and expensive.
Avoid arguments during eating time at home or anywhere. The food we consume has spiritual energy and material waste. The body separates the material waste and uses the energy. In most cases it’s easy to get rid of the material waste but not the energy. The ‘separation’ of good and bad should be done before the food comes into our mouth.
Many studies tell about the negative impact of processed food on the body. They focus on the ingredients but the most important part is the spiritual energy attached to the food. Processed food handled by machinery and robots. The processes take the life out of the food to keep it sellable for a longer time. The producers and manufacturers would do anything to maximize their profits. They use different ‘tricks’ to preserve the food they put on the shelves of stores around the world. Some growers ‘push’ chemicals through the irrigation system to produce nice looking fruits and vegetables that so no living organism tries to eat from it.
Quick Internet search would bring a lot of information related to that. My suggestion is to avoid processed food. Avoid non Kosher meat because the process of killing the animal is terrible and the aspect of death is greater in non-kosher animals.
I personally avoid even Kosher meat because the prices are too high and greed drives producers to make ‘shortcuts’ on the process and the result is a non kosher animal with kosher labels.
Most of the time I eat fresh live food. Most of my dinners are based on fruits and nuts shake. Here‘s the recipe (based on receipe my wife learned from Dr. Hyman’s website drhyman.com). It could be great for breakfast or lunch but I wouldn’t recommend it more than once a day.
This recipe is what I use but some people may be sensitive to nuts or any other ingredient in the list below. If you are under special diet then consult with nutritionist before following this recipe.
Ingredients: (All ingredient should be fresh, raw and unsweetened)
Half a cup unsweetened almond milk
Half a cup water
⅛ of a lemon (cut one lemon into half then each half to four, store in a plastic bag for next use)
Avocado wedge (⅛)
one small cherry tomato
One cup mix fruits (mostly berries). Use mix of cranberries, blueberries, blackberries. Some are sold as freshly frozen. You may add/replace with half banana, half apple, some grapes, citrus, mango, pineapple etc. You may also add dry figs, apricots for better digestion. (do not use more than one cup of fruits)
3 to 4 halves of walnuts (one spoon of pieces if nuts are broken)
5 to 7 raw almonds
spoon of raw sunflower seeds
spoon of raw pumpkin seeds
half a spoon of Chia seeds and or Hemp seeds
flat spoon of coconut oil
flat spoon of almond butter
Mix everything together in a fast blender until smooth (30 to 60 seconds). If it comes out too thick for drinking then eat with a spoon or add some water or little fresh squeezed orange or apple juice.
The portion may be too large for one person. It’s always to prepare and eat immediately after but if you want to have this shake for breakfast then you may prepare in the evening and store in the refrigerator in a closed container for the morning.
The ingredients are in their natural form and they don’t have the energy of the desire for the self alone (greed) that usually comes with processed food.
Prepare while doing Ana B’Koach to add positive spiritual energy and enjoy for great health of body and soul.
