Zohar Yitro
Jethro heard about the miracles that the Israelites experienced leaving Egypt, and came to Moses with Zipporah, Moses’s wife, and their children.
Exodus 18:10
“Jethro said, “Blessed be YHVH, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh and has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.”
Jethro blessed YHVH and connected himself to the Israelites and their faith. Because of that he could give Moses advice on how to control the judgment process in the camp of Israel, and Moses listened to him.
Exodus 18:24
“So Moses listened to his father-in-law and did all that he had said.”
The Zohar teaches us to respect and listen to every person even if that person seems to be below our level. If we know that the person is honest and connected to the system of YHVH then we can consider him a messenger of the Light and follow his message.
The Light comes through many channels to the world. God sends us messages and we should pay attention to all of them. If we don’t open ourselves, we may miss great messages that could help us greatly in our correction process.
