Zohar Yitro
Continued from previous DZ

When the world heard about the miracles that lead to the Exodus, they trembled and feared YHVH. When Jethro, who was the high priest of all pagans, accepted YHVH and came to worship him with the Israelites, all respected YHVH.

When Jethro declared that YHVH is greater than all gods, the world left their paganism and idols.

Jethro 18:11
“Now I know that YHVH is greater than all the gods”

Mezake Harabim The Zohar tells us that because of Jethro’s ‘conversion’, this story is included in the Torah, and the portion is named after him. In this portion we also read the Ten Commandments.

One of the great spiritual merits is when one person helps others come to the correct spiritual path of YHVH.

Nowadays, we have many spiritual paths that teach high morality and caring for other human beings. They are good but most of them do not connect to YHVH.

Being a good sharing and caring person is only the Malchut aspect of spirituality. It is good but without connection to YHVH as we do through the Torah study through the Zohar, the nice small vessel of a good person can not be nourished and grow to its high potential.

When you study Zohar and share your studies, you gain spiritual merits because each person you bring in becomes an extension of your spiritual being. If one failed on the path and caused many to fall after him then he destroys the vessel he previously built.

Understanding the power and the system of YHVH in this world, which is the Tree of Life, is very important to achieve spiritual unification and revealing Light in the individual life and the world. Learn this and pass it on to others to earn great merits in this life and for the world to come.
