35. בֹּא רְאֵה, אֵ”שׁ רוּ”חַ וּמַיִ”ם וְעָפָ”ר אֵלֶּה הֵם הָרִאשׁוֹנִים וְהַשָּׁרָשִׁים שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה וְשֶׁלְּמַטָּה, וְתַחְתּוֹנִים וְעֶלְיוֹנִים עוֹמְדִים עֲלֵיהֶם. וְאֵלֶּה הֵם אַרְבָּעָה, לְאַרְבָּעָה צִדְדֵי הָעוֹלָם, וְעוֹמְדִים בְּאַרְבָּעָה אֵלּוּ: צָפוֹ”ן וְדָרוֹ”ם וּמִזְרָ”ח וּמַעֲרָ”ב. אֵלּוּ הֵם אַרְבָּעָה צְדָדִים שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם, וְעוֹמְדִים בְּאַרְבָּעָה אֵלּוּ. אֵ”שׁ לְצַד צָפוֹ”ן, רוּ”חַ לְצַד מִזְרָ”ח. מַיִ”ם לְצַד דָּרוֹ”ם. מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהַדָּרוֹם הוּא חַם וְיָבֵשׁ. מַיִם קָרִים וְלַחִים. עָפָ”ר לְצַד מַעֲרָ”ב. וְאַרְבָּעָה אֵלּוּ קְשׁוּרִים בְּאַרְבָּעָה אֵלּוּ, וְכֻלָּם אֶחָד, וְאֵלֶּה עוֹשִׂים אַרְבַּע מַתָּכוֹת, שֶׁהֵם זָהָ”ב וָכֶסֶ”ף וּנְחֹשֶׁ”ת וּבַרְזֶ”ל. הֲרֵי הֵם שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר, וְכֻלָּם אֶחָד.
36. בֹּא רְאֵה, הָאֵשׁ הִיא בִּשְׂמֹאל, לְצַד צָפוֹן, שֶׁהֲרֵי הָאֵשׁ בּוֹ תֹּקֶף הַחֲמִימוּת, וְהַיֹּבֶשׁ שֶׁלּוֹ חָזָק. וְצָפוֹן הַהֵפֶךְ שֶׁלּוֹ, וְנִמְזָגִים אֶחָד בְּאֶחָד וְהוּא אֶחָד. מַיִם לְיָמִין, וְהוּא לְצַד דָּרוֹם, וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְחַבְּרָם [לְהַחֲזִירָם] כְּאֶחָד, עוֹשֶׂה מֶזֶג זֶה כְּמֶזֶג זֶה.

Fire, Wind, Water and earth are the first and roots of everything above and below.
The Book of Formation, Sefer Yetzirah, which is the root of Kabbalah, written by Abraham the patriarch, reveals the four elements. Like the YHVH name
Fire – YH יה – North, Shuruk, Left column, Gevurah, Gabriel
Wind – H ה – East, Chirik, Central column, Tiferet, Nuriel
Because Chokmah and Binah are in unification to deliver light to the lower world, Fire and Wind come together. Binah as wind helps the fire to grow and transform into heat of the water to manifest the earth in Malchut.
Water – V ו – South, Cholam, Right column, Chessed, Michael
Earth – H ה – West, Malchut that receives Fire, Wind and Water, Rephael
When the four elements unified in Malchut they create the metals of Gold, Silver, Copper and Iron.
Fire – Gold
Water – Silver
Fire + water + Wind + Earth together bring Gold, Silver and Copper.
All the above bring Iron and below the iron other similar metals.
