Daily Zohar – Tikunim – #288 – Spread your wings mother
Tikkun 21 – 29
“like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them on its pinions.”
When the prayer ascends it is like a dove, but when it comes down, it is like an Eagle that comes to her nest to feed her babies with the food that is proper for each and every one of them. Some get food for their body, some for their soul.
Our prayers are like the eaglets in the nest calling for food. The sounds ascend from the world of Malchut, which is lack and judgment and the outcome is light coming from supernal mother, Binah, like a caring Eagle.
Eagle is one of the chariots of the Holy Throne and represents Jacob, Tiferet, the central column.
