We learned that every action in this world arises a parallel action in the spiritual levels. When a person acts with Chessed, which is love, sharing, and kindness, the light of Chessed has awakened above and surrounds this person on that day. If a person acts with mercy, then the light of mercy fills that day for him. The day that was created with by our actions is saved for us to support and advocate for us when we need it.
Similarly, if a person acts with cruelty, he set flaws on the day and forces of judgment come on him with cruelty to destroy him. The rule is that we are ‘measured’ by the same ‘measure’ we used on others.
Since they were young, I taught my daughters that every action they do is reflected upon them by a spiritual mirror. If they do bad things, the spiritual mirror gets dirty and doesn’t reflect good light upon them. They will need to do many good things to clean the mirror and restore its shine. If they do good things, the mirror becomes brighter and bring light into their actions and life to have success in everything they do.
