70. מַה שֶּׁאֵין כֵּן בְּדַרְגַּת אוֹתוֹ הַצַּד הָאַחֵר, שֶׁשָּׁם הוּא מָקוֹם שֶׁנִּקְרָא חוֹבָ”ה, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁכָּל מַעֲשֵׂי אוֹתוֹ הַמָּקוֹם שֶׁל נָחָשׁ אֵשֶׁת זְנוּנִים אֵינוֹ אֶלָּא לְהַפֵּךְ בְּחֶטְאוֹ שֶׁל הָאָדָם, וּלְהַלְשִׁין עֶבֶד לַאֲדוֹנוֹ.
71. אוֹתָם שֶׁל הֵיכַל הַזְּכוּת נִקְרָאִים מַיִם מְתוּקִים, מַיִם צְלוּלִים. אוֹתָם שֶׁל הֵיכַל הַחוֹבָה נִקְרָאִים מַיִם מְרִירִים, (במדבר ה) מֵי הַמָּרִים הַמְאָרֲרִים. בְּאוֹתוֹ הֵיכַל הַזְּכוּת לֹא עוֹמְדִים שְׁלֹשֶׁת אֵלֶּה: בָּנִים, חַיִּים וּמְזוֹנוֹת. וְלֹא בְּאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם שֶׁל חוֹבָה, וְלֹא בְּמַיִם מְתוּקִים וּצְלוּלִים, וְלֹא בְּמַיִם מְרִירִים מְאֹרָרִים.
“בִּגְזֵרַת עִירִין פִּתְגָמָא, וּמֵאמַר קַדִּישִׁין שְׁאֵלְתָא”
“The matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the sentence by the word of the holy ones;”
In the book of Rav Yeva Sava, it is written that all judgments, decrees, and questions are in one palace in heavens. In this palace, a Sanhedrin with 72 judges investigates all judgment cases of the world. This palace is called ‘the Palace of Merit’ because when they discuss a specific case, they look first at the merits that the person may have.
At the level of the other-side, the palace is called ‘Guiltiness’, because it is controlled by the Snake, ‘Wife of harlotry’. They present the actions of a person as negative and tell on him to his master to inflict maximum judgment.
The Palace of Merit has the aspect of ‘Sweet Water, Clear Water’. The Palace of Guiltiness has the aspect of ‘Bitter (cursed) Waters’ (Numbers 5:18).
Judgments related to “בָּנִים, חַיִּים וּמְזוֹנוֹת”, “Having children, life, and sustenance” is not found in the two palaces of Sweet Waters or Bitter Waters.
The Israelites sow seeds of Tzedaka above all waters, meaning that they elevate ‘Female waters’ (Mayim Nukvin) to Binah that is called ‘above all waters’.
The light for Having children, length, and quality of life, and sustenance depend on the Holy “מזלא”, “Mazala’, which is the Light that comes from the ‘beard’ of Arich Anpin that is the source where Binah came out.
The light that comes from Binah is like water flows through Zeir Anpin and gathers into Yessod like a pool (Zohar Hasulam Vaera #130). We receive our nourishment from Yessod according to our personal corrections and merits.
Binah is “above water” and Arich Anpin is above Binah and the source of “מזלא” “Mazala”. The literal meaning is ‘luck’ and the root ‘נזל’ is related to ‘flow’. The light of Mazala is a pure light from the head of Keter and it is above the laws of nature. The ‘beard’ is a symbol that represents the channels of lights coming down from the head of Keter.
Rabbi Shimon and few other great Tzadikim, could reach this level. They had the ability to change nature and transform anything into anything in this world.
We can sow seeds of female waters and go above the waters as high as we can. By reducing or removing the influence of the ego and the desire for the self in our actions, we expand our vessel and able to draw more from the higher levels to the ‘pool’ of Yessod.
