Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -3271
Hebrew translation:

96. פָּתַח אוֹתוֹ זָקֵן וְאָמַר, (שם כד) וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה בְּתוֹךְ הֶעָנָן וַיַּעַל אֶל הָהָר וְגוֹ’. עָנָן זֶה מַהוּ? אֶלָּא זֶהוּ הַכָּתוּב (בראשית ט) אֶת קַשְׁתִּי נָתַתִּי בֶּעָנָן. שָׁנִינוּ שֶׁאוֹתָהּ קֶשֶׁת הִפְשִׁיטָה אֶת לְבוּשֶׁיהָ וְנָתְנָה אוֹתָם לְמֹשֶׁה, וּבְאוֹתוֹ לְבוּשׁ עָלָה מֹשֶׁה לָהָר, וּמִמֶּנּוּ רָאָה מַה שֶּׁרָאָה וְנֶהֱנָה מֵהַכֹּל. עַד אוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם בָּאוּ אוֹתָם הַחֲבֵרִים, וְהִשְׁתַּטְּחוּ לִפְנֵי אוֹתוֹ זָקֵן וּבָכוּ וְאָמְרוּ, אִלְמָלֵא לֹא בָאנוּ לָעוֹלָם אֶלָּא כְּדֵי לִשְׁמֹעַ דְּבָרִים אֵלּוּ מִפִּיךָ – דַּי לָנוּ!
97. אָמַר אוֹתוֹ זָקֵן, (אִם אַחֶרֶת יִקַּח לוֹ) חֲבֵרִים, לֹא בִּשְׁבִיל זֶה בִּלְבַד הִתְחַלְתִּי אֶת הַדָּבָר, שֶׁהֲרֵי זָקֵן כָּמוֹנִי לֹא בְּדָבָר אֶחָד עוֹשֶׂה קִישׁ קִישׁ וְלֹא קוֹרֵא, כַּמָּה בְּנֵי הָעוֹלָם שֶׁהֵם בְּעִרְבּוּבְיָה בַּתְּבוּנָה שֶׁלָּהֶם, וְלֹא רוֹאִים בְּדֶרֶךְ אֱמֶת בַּתּוֹרָה, וְתוֹרָה קוֹרֵאת בְּכָל יוֹם בִּנְהִימָה (בְּאַהֲבָה) אֲלֵיהֶם, וְלֹא רוֹצִים לְהָשִׁיב רֹאשָׁם.
98. וְאַף עַל גַּב שֶׁאָמַרְנוּ שֶׁהֲרֵי הַתּוֹרָה הוֹצִיאָה דָבָר מִנַּרְתִּיקָהּ, וְנִרְאָה קָטָן וּמִיָּד נִטְמַן – כָּךְ הוּא וַדַּאי. וּבִזְמַן שֶׁנִּתְגַּלָּה מִתּוֹךְ נַרְתִּיקָהּ וְנִטְמַן מִיָּד, לֹא עוֹשֶׂה אֶת זֶה אֶלָּא לְאוֹתָם שֶׁיּוֹדְעִים בָּהּ וְנוֹדָעִים בָּהּ.


Zohar Mishpatim

Saba D’Mishpatim. “The sage”

The old sage opens this part of the study by quoting Exodus 24:18
“וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה בְּתוֹךְ הֶעָנָן וַיַּעַל אֶל הָהָר וַיְהִי מֹשֶׁה בָּהָר אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם וְאַרְבָּעִים לָיְלָה.”
“So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.”
He explains that the ‘rainbow’ is the secret of Malchut that receives from the three colors white, red, and green.
Genesis 9:13
“אֶת קַשְׁתִּי נָתַתִּי בֶּעָנָן וְהָיְתָה לְאוֹת בְּרִית בֵּינִי וּבֵין הָאָרֶץ.”
“I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.”

These three colors represent the three lines of the Tree of Life. Moses received from Malchut the three colors as a garment that with it he went up the mountain to receive the Torah.
Rabbi Chiya and Rabbi Yossi listen to this explanation and bow before the sage, saying that it would have been a good enough reason for them to come to this world just to listen to his words.

The Saba replied that he didn’t open this study just to get attention like empty people that learn one thing and make a lot of ‘noise’ about it to make himself famous. They are like a small coin that makes a big noise in an empty jar.
Many people don’t study the Torah as a path to the truth. The Torah calls them with love every day but they don’t turn their head to her call for study.

The Saba adds that even though he said that the Torah reveals little secrets and concealed them immediately, it is so only for those who are committed to its study.

Moses needed to connect to the three columns to form the path to Binah, where he can connect to God and receive the Torah. The two rabbis realized the great secret, revealed by the Saba and they bowed to him with humility and appreciation.
The cloud is formed from air and water that brings the aspect of Chassadim, connecting Malchut to the Tree of Life. This spiritual cloud can ascend to the seventh heavens that are Chessed, where we find Da’at the connect us to Binah.

The secret of ‘קפיצת הדרך’ ‘distance hopping’ that is a kabbalist way to ‘walk’ great distance in short time is by forming a cloud around himself and make a jump that is actual teleportation or in science fiction terms, a ‘hyperspace jump’.

The Saba continues to the subject of studying the Torah because only through its study we can reveal such high secrets.
