Daily Zohar # 3603 – Tzav – And Isaac dug again the wells of water

Rabbi Chiya agrees with his friend and adds that the willow tree is properly called ‘ערבי נחל’ ‘willows of the brook’ (Leviticus 23:40) because it is from the side of Binah that has an aspect of ‘brook’. The Gevurot come out of Binah, meaning the illumination of Chokmah with judgments and on that day they rise and end as it is written; Genesis 26:18 “…וַיָּשָׁב יִצְחָק וַיַּחְפֹּר אֶת בְּאֵרֹת הַמַּיִם” “And Isaac dug again the wells of water…”.
The word ‘wells’ in this verse is missing the letter ו Vav to tell us that the wells have the aspect of Malchut.
On the first day of the month that is Rosh Hashanah, the judgment process begins.
“And Isaac dug again,” tells us that Isaac, which is the aspect of the Left column, came again on Hoshanah Rabah to the throne to awaken judgments in the world and end them on the same day.
“Dug again the wells of water” means to bring Gevurot to the congregation of Israel that is Malchut and called ‘well’. The water that is the secret of the illumination of Chokmah comes down to the world and as explained earlier. It comes to the world only with the Left.

The Gevurot need clouds to descend to the world because the world was created on Rosh Hashanah with the force of the Left, judgment. Because of that, judgments need to always be revealed with water, which is the Light of Chokmah so the wicked won’t be able to hold to the Left column and bring back the judgments of Rosh Hashanah.
Therefore, everything depends on the deeds below. The priest makes corrections with the sacrifices and awakens supernal and lower forces to support the priest. With the use of the four species of Sukkot, and the willows of the brook on Hoshana Rabbah, Chokmah connects to Malchut with the judgments that reveal through her, and the wicked are not able to hold to her and receive Life.
