Daily Zohar # 3714 – Balak – Three trees for three giants
Hebrew translation:
.
Zohar Balak
#334
The Holy One Blessed be He accepted our study and gave us not just one tree, but three trees. The water spring has the form of the hidden and concealed spring that is Binah. The three trees are three Cedars of Lebanon. They have the form of the great trees that are the secret of the patriarchs, meaning Chessed, Gevurah, and Tiferet of Zeir Anpin. They come from Binah that is called Lebanon.
#335
The three trees bent over the heads of Rabbi Shimon, Rabbi Pinchas, and Rabbi Elazar. The branches of the trees extended to all directions over the heads of the friends.
Rabbi Pinchas wept and said, how happy is my share, and happy are my eyes that witnessed this. I am happy not just for you and myself, but for Rabbi Elazar, our son, who is considered by the Holy One Blessed be He to be like one of us.
One tree bent over his head the same way the other bent over Rabbi Shimon and Rabbi Pinchas. He rose and kissed him. Rabbi Shimon said, Elazar, stand up and speak the words of Torah in front of your Creator. Rabbi Elazar rose.
Lesson;
When we read in the Zohar that Rabbi Shimon or others weep, we understand that they experience a revelation of Light at the level of Chokmah that is represented in the eyes. Sometimes one may experience uncontrolled tears and or body shaking. It means that the soul is deeply affected by spiritual experience.
