Zohar Beresheet
Continued from previous DZ
#77
The grass mentioned in Genesis 1:11 is for the service of man as it is written (Psalm 104:14) “And vegetation(grass) for the service of man”.
For the service of man means the ‘Wheels’ (‘Ophanim’ ‘אופנים’) that are the angels in the world of Action(Asiya), and the ‘Holy living Creatures’ ‘חיות הקודש’ that are the angels in the world of Formation (Yetzirah), and Cherubim that are the angels from the world of Creation (B’riah).
All the angels comes from the upper three sefirot of the world of Emanation (Atzilut) and serve the people for different purposes.
#78
When the angels serve the people, they continue to ‘sprout’ in the world to “bring forth bread (לֶחֶם,food) from the earth”. This is the difference between ‘hay’ for the ‘livestock’ (#76 above) that doesn’t yield seeds, and the “grass/plants yielding seed” (Genesis 1:11) that come from Zeir Anpin of Atzilut for the purpose of supporting the correction of the world.
#79
All the work of corrections were given to the people to “bring forth bread (לֶחֶם,food) from the earth”, where ‘earth’ is Malchut and the work is to follow the guide of their master and draw blessings to the people from above.
