Rabbi Elazar said it is written;
Deuteronomy 15:11
“כִּי לֹא יֶחְדַּל אֶבְיוֹן מִקֶּרֶב הָאָרֶץ עַל כֵּן אָנֹכִי מְצַוְּךָ לֵאמֹר פָּתֹחַ תִּפְתַּח אֶת יָדְךָ לְאָחִיךָ לַעֲנִיֶּךָ וּלְאֶבְיֹנְךָ בְּאַרְצֶךָ.”
“For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.'”
We have learned from this verse that a person should not ignore the poor that is close to him and give to another poor person. After all, Rabbi Yossi, your father-in-law, is sick in his home. We will visit him with an act of Chessed. And after we come back, we enter this place a second time. As long as we go and return on this road, we will see the Resurrection of the dead. Rabbi Eleazar said it must be like that. They kissed that boy, blessed him, and left.

Lesson;
Psalm 145:16
“פּוֹתֵחַ אֶת יָדֶךָ וּמַשְׂבִּיעַ לְכָל חַי רָצוֹן.”
“You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.”
The poor will never cease to exist in the world because Hashem wants us to open our hands and give, the same way he opens his hands to sustain us all.

#384
Rabbi Aba said I am amazed by the children of this generation, how strong they are. They are like great and lofty mountains.
Rabbi Elazar said, blessed is the lot of my father, who is the leader of this generation. Because in his days, the Holy One, Blessed be He, wants to establish his two Yeshivas, and make them a great and superior settlement place, because there would be no generation like this generation until King Mashiach comes. They left.

Lesson;
Rabbi Elazar expresses the greatness of his father, Rabbi Shimon. In his generation, there were great revelations of Light, like the son of Rabbi Yossi, that made the heavens bring his father back to life and shared Torah secrets with them.
In our generation, there are some great Tzadikim, and most of them are hidden. Nevertheless, their light shines in the world and exposes evil.
We choose to study from teachers that follow the teachings and ways of the Torah and Rabbi Shimon. We should give thanks to Hashem for bringing us closer to Rabbi Shimon with the studies of the Zohar as if we are in his generation.
