Genesis 7:6
“Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters were on the earth.”
He asks why the scripture brings this count of Noah’s years. He replies, saying that if Noah was not six hundred years old, he would not enter the Ark and connected with it. Since he reached six hundred years, he could connect with her, the upper Nukva.
It was said before that the Ark corresponds to the upper Nukva and Noah to the Yessod above. Yessod is the sixth Sefira of Zeir Anpin, and therefore, as long as he did not reach the age of six hundred, he was not worthy to be a chariot for the sixth Sefira. The count of hundreds implies the Mochin that he received from Binah that is the secret of hundreds.

#133
And therefore, from the day that the people’s sins were worthy of receiving their punishment, the Holy One, Blessed be He, waited to punish them until Noah completed six hundred years. Then Noah reached a level of righteousness and could enter the Ark. Everything was done so he could receive from Yessod and Malchut from above.

Lesson;
Hashem carries the weight of the people’s sins in this world until they repent or receive their punishment. Sins create forces of judgment that won’t go away until they are permitted to act. Once they inflict the proper judgment, they are nullified.
