Daily Zohar 4092

Zohar Vayera
Continued from previous DZ
#142
He asks, when do we see that Isaac honored his father, and answer, when Abraham bound Isaac on the altar, ready to follow Hashem’s command, Isaac was 37 years old, and his father was 137 years old. Isaac could have kicked his father with one foot and pushed him away, but he honored his father, submitted to his father’s wishes, and allowed him to tie him like a goat on the altar.
Lesson;
The Midrash tells us that Isaac asked his father to make tight knots so his body won’t move when his father used the knife on him.
That was the point when Isaac became the chariot for the Left column, Gevurah.
#143
“And a servant, his master,” this is Eliezer, the servant to Abraham. His master. When he sent Eliezer to Haran, and there he did all Abraham’s will. He honored his master when saying;
Genesis 24:34,35
“So he said, “I am Abraham’s servant.”
“YHVH has blessed my master greatly, and he has become great; and He has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.”
#144
As a man, who brings silver and gold and precious stones, and camels, and in himself is worthy and beautiful in appearance, Eliezer did not say that he is loved or relative to Abraham. He said, “I am Abraham’s servant.” To raise Abraham’s praise and honor him in their eyes.
