Zohar Vayera
Continued from previous DZ
#153
“Her husband is known in the gates.”
Her husband is the Holy One Blessed be He that is known and understood according to each one’s guess and assumption in his heart and the level he can grasp in his wisdom. According to what a person thinks in his heart, so is the knowledge he receives. For this reason, it is written; “known in the gates,” according to which everyone guesses in his heart, but let it be known well, there is no one who can attain and know him.

#154
Rabbi Shimon says that the “gates” are as it is written;
Psalm 24:7
“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up your everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.”
The gates are supernal levels that the Holy One, Blessed be He, reveals himself to us. Without these gates, no one can understand and connect to his force.

#155
Also, no one knows a person’s soul except the body’s organs that follow the soul’s wishes. They reveal the actions of the soul. Because of that, the soul is known and unknown; it is known through the actions of the body and not known from its own essence.
The Holy One, Blessed be He, is known and is not known because he is the Light of the soul levels of Neshama and Ruach, hidden from everything. The one who has merits to be close to these gates, that is, the upper levels, which are openings to the soul, can reach levels of understanding about the ways Hashem acts in this world, but not about his essence.

Lesson;
The righteous who expand their souls to have the Light of Ruach and Neshama can connect to the higher sefirot and better understand Hashem’s ways and connect to his light to act on a higher level in this world.
