#252
Rabbi Yitzchak said, the high priest enters the Holy of Holies and closes his eyes so as not to look where he did not need to. He would hear the sound of the wings of the cherubim singing and praising. Then he would know that everything is in happiness and he would come out in peace. And even with all this, he knew during his prayer that the words that came out of his mouth are with joy, and are received and blessed properly, and then joy spreads in the upper and the lower levels.
#253
Rabbi Elazar asked Rabbi Shimon his father, why does Yom Kippur, depends on the level of Binah, and Malchut elevates to her, which is the secret of the Left, and not to another level? It would be proper to have it in the same level that the king is in it most of all, meaning that Malchut would mate with her husband, Zeir Anpin that is the secret of the Right. Rabbi Shimon said to him, Elazar my son, surely it is so that it should be dependent on Binah, and you asked well.
