Daily Zohar 4321

“So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him for three months.”
“But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank.”
“The woman” is Malchut as it is written “לזאת יקרא אשה” “she (זאת) shall be called ‘woman,’” (Genesis 2:23), and “זאת” is the name of Malchut.
At first, she was called “daughter of Levi,” why is she now called “Woman”? And he replies, we learned that before she gets married, she is called the daughter of so-and-so; after she gets married, she is called a woman. In this case, “a daughter” and “a woman” are on the same level, Malchut.
#313
“וַתִּצְפְּנֵהוּ שְׁלֹשָׁה יְרָחִים”, “she hid him three months”, these months are Tamuz (4th month), Av (5th), and Tevet (10th). And so the Shechina hid him. He asks, what do we need to understand from that? And he replies that before Moshe came down to this world, he was kept above, and so the Shechinah was with him from the day he was born, and she protected him. This is why Rabbi Shimon said that the souls of the righteous are kept above before they are incarnated into bodies in this world.
#314
“But when she could no longer hide him” “וְלֹא יָכְלָה עוֹד הַצְּפִינוֹ”. He asks, what is it? “She took an ark of bulrushes for him,” And he replies that she covered him with unique signs that would protect him from those fish of the sea, meaning angels, who sail in the great sea. It is written, “This great and vast sea, In which are innumerable teeming things, Living things both small and great.
” (Psalm 104:25).
She covered him with protection from the side of Binah in two shades, white and black, which are the secret of clay and tar. These two correspond to the Right and Left lines. Tar is a secret on the Left, except that it is mixed with Malchut and judgments. Therefore the red on the Left becomes black (as mentioned in Idra Raba #214). She let Moshe sail among the angels of the sea and be known among them because he will come to be among them at another time to receive the Torah.
