Zohar Beresheet
Continued from previous DZ
#190
When a man opens his mouth in the evening prayer during the weekdays, an eagle lands to receive the night prayer in its wings. This eagle is called Nuriel. Uriel is from the side of Chessed, and Nuriel is from the side of Gevurah because he is a burning fire. In which it is said (Daniel 7:10), “A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him.”
#191
In the morning prayer, a lion descends to receive the prayer with his arms and wings because each of the animals of the holy chariot has four wings. It is the angel Michael.
In the afternoon prayer, “מנחה,” an Ox descends to receive the prayer with its horns and wings, and this is the angel Gabriel.
Lesson;
The three prayers represent the three lines. The morning prayer is the Right line, Abraham, Chessed. The afternoon prayer is the Left line, Isaac, Gevurah, and the evening prayer is the Middle line, Jacob, Tiferet.
#192
On Shabbat, the Holy One, blessed be He, comes down in the secret of the three Patriarchs to receive his only daughter, meaning the prayer, which is the aspect of the Nukva. This is the secret of Shabbat, “שַׁבָּת,” in the form ש’ בַּת, the letter in its shape ‘ש’ represents the three Patriarchs and the three lines, Right, Left, and Middle. “בַּת”, means daughter.
At that time, the animals who are called in the name of YHVH open and say,
Psalm 24:7
“שְׂאוּ שְׁעָרִים רָאשֵׁיכֶם וְהִנָּשְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵי עוֹלָם וְיָבוֹא מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבוֹד.”
“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up your everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.”
