Daily Zohar 4834

Therefore, it is written: “לֹא עָשָׂה כֵן לְכָל גּוֹי” “He did not do so for any other nation” (Psalms 147:20) —”Goy” (nation) in general—this includes even one who is circumcised but does not fulfill the commandments. “וּמִשְׁפָּטִים בַּל יְדָעוּם” “And His Torah laws they shall not know”—Not now, nor forever and ever.
Another explanation: Even the simple meanings of the Torah and the commandments, we do not give to them—how much more so the secrets of the Torah and the statutes of the Torah. And it is written: “כִּי חֵלֶק ה’ עַמּוֹ יַעֲקֹב חֶבֶל נַחֲלָתוֹ” “For Hashem’s portion is His people; Jacob is the rope of His inheritance” (Deuteronomy 32:9), and also: “אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם שֶׁכָּכָה לּוֹ אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם שֶׁה’ אֱלֹהָיו” “Happy is the people for whom this is so; happy is the people whose God is Hashem.” (Psalms 144:15)
Notes:
Torah is not for everyone. Only those who are truly within the covenant—through circumcision and observance—may receive and embody it. Those who neglect mitzvot, even if circumcised, are not fit to learn or receive Torah, not even its outer layers—and certainly not its secrets.
This Zohar section powerfully reminds us that Torah is a sacred inheritance and that its light shines only through vessels prepared in holiness and commitment.

Mishnah (teaching): In the pathways of the lights, four keys were made corresponding to the four directions of the world. And in their corners are found: One key for the four directions, and four directions within each direction. And they are engraved in one color. In that color is blended: blue (תכלת), purple (ארגמן), crimson worm (ותולעת שני), white (לבן), and red (אדום). Each one enters into the color of its companion, and the color of the companion is inscribed within it.
Notes:
The light flows from the upper levels through the system of sefirot, and its revelation depends on harmony—especially the middle line of Tiferet, the great “key” that opens all other directions. The four directions are not isolated but interwoven, each containing aspects of the others. The colors represent spiritual attributes, and their intermingling reveals a universe in which all powers blend and balance. This secret underscores the importance of inner harmony, balance between justice and mercy, and the role of integration in the spiritual unfolding of Hashem’s light. The Zohar gives us not only a vision of spiritual architecture but also a blueprint for harmony and unity within the soul and the spiritual system that governs the world.
