#385
The Hei of the Holy Name, which represents Binah, is included within the Yud, representing Chokhmah, based on the inclusion of the 22 Hebrew letters within the Yud, as explained above. And from it—the Yud—the Hei emerges since Binah emanates from Chokhmah. Then, Chokhmah and Binah, which together form the first two letters Yud-Hei (יה) of the Holy Name, crown the Patriarchs, that is, the sefirot of Chessed, Gevurah and Tiferet within Zeir Anpin, which are called Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The Hei opens through her streams, meaning the fifty gates of Binah, and she crowns the head of the Vav (ו)—that is, she bestows the three upper sefirot upon Zeir Anpin, symbolized by the Vav of the Holy Name.
In this way, the Patriarchs—Chessed, Gevurah, and Tiferet—rise and become the head, that is, they ascend to the level of Chokhmah, Binah, and Da’at (חב” ד), by the illumination from the fifty gates of Binah.
#386
After explaining how the Yud (י) of the Holy Name emanates, in general, the 22 letters within it—forming the Hei (ה) and Vav (ו) of the Name—the text now explains how the final Hei (ה) of the Name, which represents Malchut, emerges from the comprehensive 22 letters that are contained in the Yud. The Vav (ו) comprises six letters, meaning it is constructed from the six letters preceding it in the alphabet—Alef (א) through Vav (ו).
All of them are included in the Yud (י) because the Yud contains within itself all nine letters that precede it—i.e., Alef to Tet (א–ט)—which also includes the six letters of the Vav. This is the Yud that rests above the Vav, as discussed earlier. This Yud, with its engravings, meaning with its inclusiveness of the nine earlier letters, ascends to the Yud of the Name, the one that contains all 22 letters, to be crowned with the remaining 12 letters, from Yod to Tav (י–ת).
At that point, the final Hei becomes included in the 22 letters, just as the Yud is. From this Hei emerge the Ten Utterances (עשרה מאמרות)—which correspond to the Ten Sefirot—in their engravings (spiritual formations) and all the pathways of the Supreme Way, the most precious of all. These are the 32 paths of wisdom (ל״ב נתיבות חכמה), revealed from the Yessod of Israel Saba and Tevuna, called the “Way” (אורח). At this stage, the final Hei of the Name, representing Malchut, becomes included in all of them—meaning she receives all the above lights—and is engraved from the hidden peg (יתד), which is the Yessod of Zeir Anpin, in order to bring forth below—that is, to be a vessel for birthing souls.

All the lights that are in the Yud (י) above the Vav (ו)—meaning the three upper Sefirot of Zeir Anpin (Z “A)—are engraved with forty-two letters. The Keter of Z “A is represented by the four letters of the Holy Name. The Chokhmah of Z “A is represented by the ten letters of the Name in Milui (spelled): יוד הא ואו הא. The Binah of Z “A is represented by the 28 letters in the milui of the milui, meaning the secondary filling:
יוד = יוד ואו דלת
הא = הא אלף
ואו = ואו אלף ואו
הא = הא אלף
Together, these expand into 28 letters. Thus, altogether (4 from Keter + 10 from Chokhmah + 28 from Binah), it amounts to 42 letters. These forty-two letters were all explained earlier in this section. They all ascend and become engraved in the head of the King, which refers to the upper three Sefirot of Zeir Anpin, as explained.
Notes:
The upper three Sefirot (Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah) of Zeir Anpin are engraved (spiritually structured) with the 42 letters derived from progressive expansions of the Holy Name, YHVH.
These 42 letters—4 from the basic Name, 10 from the first spelling, and 28 from the second—structure the consciousness and flow of Light that resides in the “head of the King,” the source of all interaction with creation. This structure underpins the transmission of spiritual energy into the world, establishing the sacred order by which divine wisdom flows into the lower levels.
