Tikkun 22 – 44
And on the seventh day God finished His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made
And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it He rested from all His work which God in creating had made.
וַיְכַל, “and He Finished on the seventh day”
וַיִּשְׁבֹּת “and He Rested on the Seventh day”
וַיְבָרֶךְ, “and He Blessed the Seventh day”
וַיְקַדֵּשׁ “and He Hallowed it”
The Zohar connects the first three that have direct reference to the Seventh day, to the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The four aspects of God’s actions on the Seventh day created the first unification of the light and vessel in Malchut. The returning light of the seventh day reached the highest levels.
This is also expressed in the last words that sum the whole Creation
“that God created to make”
אֲשֶׁר same letters as ראש, meaning head and relates to the world of Emanation, Atzilut
בָּרָא, for the world of Beriah, בריאה.
אֱלֹהִים, for the world of Formation, יצירה
לַעֲשׂוֹת, for the world of action, עשיה
The first word in Genesis 2:1 ויכולו with value of 72 brings the whole creation as one. The Zohar tells us that this word includes the three patriarchs that are the chariots for the three columns of the Tree of Life to this world. It also connects us to the three verses in the Torah that reveal the 72 names. (Exodus 14:19,20,21)
72 names have 216 letters and that is the numerical value of Gevurah, גבורה, which is the aspect of Elokim אלקים, the name of God that Created the world for us.
YHVH, which is the aspect of Mercy will be the force of the Final Redemption.
Isaiah 54:7, 8
“with great compassion I will gather you”
“with everlasting kindness will I have compassion on you, said YHVH, your Redeemer ”
