Tikkun 24 – 4
The seven species, Wheat (Chessed), Barley (Gevurah), Grapes (Tiferet), Figs (Netzach), Pomegranates (Hod), Olives (Yessod), Dates (Malchut).
Seven connects us to the lower seven Sefirot and represents the aspect of the Tikkun process
Each of the species has part of the energy and the Tikkun process. The wheat and Barley require separation of the good from the bad. The grapes go through a strict process to make wine in order to keep the positive energy of it.
The Zohar says that sin of Eve and Adam connected them to grapes. They transferred the positive energy of it to the negative side and by that gave control to the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad with the aspect of death.
The Zohar also says that there is another version that claims the sin was with wheat and both versions are true.
