Tikkun 41 – 2
(Continued from previous Daily Zohar)
On the month of Tishrei, it was said “בְּתִשְׁרֵי נִבְרָא הָעוֹלָם”,”In Tishrei, the world was created”.
The א, Alef, is missing from בְּתִשְׁרֵי ,”In Tishrei”, because Adam sinned on the first day and turned that day into a day of judgment.
The first letter of בְרֵאשִׁית, “In the Beginning” should have been Alef to channel the Unity of the whole Creation. The first day was named אחד, “One”. Because of the sin, the Alef was concealed and the letter Bet started everything. It represents the two columns, the duality and the separation from the Tree of Life. But it has the blessing of God that helps us do the work of the correction and unify the two columns into one by our actions.
We have 248 precepts to do good to connect to the Chessed of the right column and 365 precepts to avoid and remove negativity from the left column and bring balance to life. The balance was lost with the concealment of the Alef.
When we recite the Ana B’Koach we connect to the missing Alef.
