Zohar Emor

#126
Rabbi Yehuda says that all the holidays are called “Holy Events”, but the exceptions are Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. There is no happiness these days because they connect to judgments.
The three holidays of Pesach, Shavuot, and Sukkot come from the Holiness for the joy and pleasure of everyone to be with the Holy One Blessed be He. We read in Leviticus 23:40 “ וּשְׂמַחְתֶּם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם” “and you shall rejoice before YHVH your God”, and Deuteronomy 16:11 “וְשָׂמַחְתָּ לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ” “And you shall rejoice before YHVH your God,”, and on the day of Shabbat, every sorrow, upset and distress is removed from the world because the King is joyous in this day, and additional souls added to Israel as in the world to come.

#127
Rabbi Yitzchak tells Rabbi Yehuda it is written in Exodus 20:7 “זָכוֹר אֶת יוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת לְקַדְּשׁוֹ.” “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” and we learned that we remember it over wine. He asks why wine is wine, and answers that wine is the joy of the Torah and the secret of the Mochin (essence) of the Light of Chokmah that is called wine. These Mochin illuminate Zeir Anpin that is called Torah, and the wine of Torah, that is the Mochin of Zeir Anpin is the joy of all and this wine brings happiness to the King, who is Zeir Anpin. This wine adorns the King with crowns as we read in Songs 3:11 “צְאֶינָה וּרְאֶינָה בְּנוֹת צִיּוֹן בַּמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה בָּעֲטָרָה שֶׁעִטְּרָה לּוֹ אִמּוֹ בְּיוֹם חֲתֻנָּתוֹ וּבְיוֹם שִׂמְחַת לִבּוֹ.” “Go forth, O daughters of Zion, And see King Solomon with the crown With which his mother crowned him On the day of his wedding, The day of the gladness of his heart.”

Every action we do below connects us to the spiritual root above. The Holiness is found in wine and that is why we recite the kiddush of Shabbat with a cup of wine.
The love of Hashem is a connection to the ‘wine’ of the Torah that is the upper three Sefirot of Zeir Anpin.

Songs 1:2
“יִשָּׁקֵנִי מִנְּשִׁיקוֹת פִּיהוּ כִּי טוֹבִים דֹּדֶיךָ מִיָּיִן.”
“Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— For your love from wine is good.”

Songs 1:4
“מָשְׁכֵנִי אַחֲרֶיךָ נָּרוּצָה הֱבִיאַנִי הַמֶּלֶךְ חֲדָרָיו נָגִילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָה בָּךְ נַזְכִּירָה דֹדֶיךָ מִיַּיִן מֵישָׁרִים אֲהֵבוּךָ.”
“Draw me away! We will run after you. The Shulamite The king has brought me into his chambers. The Daughters of Jerusalem We will be glad and rejoice in you. We will remember your love from wine. The Shulamite Rightly do they love you.”

Lesson;
Wine is ‘יין’, numerically 70, same as ‘סוד’, ‘Secret’. The spiritual root of wine is at the top three Sefirot of Zeir Anpin that is the crown of the Torah.

The words of the song below are from Songs 3:11 (mentioned above). The video shows different Yeshivas in Israel where many students study the secrets of the Torah and create continuous connections to Zeir Anpin. The studies of the Torah all over the world create crowns for the King and he keeps sustaining the world.
