Hebrew translation:
Tikkun 70 – 75
Leviticus 21:18
“כִּי כָל-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ מוּם, לֹא יִקְרָב ”
“For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach”
This verse from the laws that God gave the Priests reveal that impure body can not come closer to serve the Holy. The priests need to have a pure body, which means that they conduct all their actions with purity otherwise they can not channel the light.
On Yom Kippur, that is the Holiest day of the year, the High Priest enters the Holy of Hollies to make a special connection with the name of YHVH and draw light for the entire world. If he wasn’t pure, he would die immediately when the light comes down.
To help the High priest do his work, he was instructed to use special drugs that allowed him disconnect from a body consciousness.
The learning from this is that to become a great channel we should forget about ourselves and our limited vessel. When we are channels we have no lack.
I see many people on Facebook and tweeter sharing some positive and motivational quotes. These are nice but they don’t have the power to affect the soul on a level that would become part of it.
The impact of the Zohar teaching is pure and on the soul level it changes the spiritual DNA. Connecting to the sacred text takes us to the roots of the spiritual system and the DNA code of creation. We must have the Zohar in front of us when we study it. Listening to a Kabbalah lecture without having the Zohar doesn’t have the same effect. Above all we should share the Zohar study resources that we use with everyone we know. With that action we become a channel of the light like the High Priest. We don’t just help the few that we know, we help the entire world.
