Pinchas 255-257
The color תְּכֵלֶת, sky blue, represents judgment that is the aspect of Malchut. The name of YHVH in Malchut is expressed with the name of Judgment אדני ADNY (Pronounced Adonai). This name begins with the letter א that represents the source of the Light and the YHVH name that is the aspect of Mercy. The א Alef is constructed from יוי Yod, Vav and Yod, numerically 26 as the YHVH name. The other three letters דני form the word דין that literally means ‘Judgment’.
The world of Malchut is where Mercy and Judgment meet and the archangel Metatron is ‘governing’ that aspect.
The Holy Throne that connects the upper and lower using Metatron, has 72 bridges. They are represented in the Talit, that is the prayer shawl men use during their prayers. The Talit has 72 knots on 4 sides with 18 knots each.
The Talit is a powerful tool and men wear a smaller version under their shirts to have constant connection and protection of the Light. The technology of preparing it is very complex and the Holy Ari dedicated 6 chapters in the book ‘the Fruit of the Tree of Life” for explanation of the meditation of preparing the Tzizit which are the strings that are knotted on the four corners of the Talit, that is also called ‘wings’.
Just few notes from 4 strings doubled as 8 with one long string serve as ‘Shamash’ (server, same name as the special candle of Channukah that light the others). The Shamash binds all the connections and knots into one unit.
There are four (YHVH) sets of wrapping (7,8,11,13) of the Shammash around the other 7 strings.
7+8 (15=יה)
+ 11 (=26 as the numerical value of YHVH, also twice אהבה, Love)
+ 13 (=39 for the upper level of יהו spelled out as יוד-הא-ואו, also טל, ‘dew’ of the light of the Resurrection).
The Zohar also connects the Talit to the wings of the four Holy Creatures of the Holy Throne and the 613 precepts.
The entire Talit טלית brings the aspect of surrounding light of Binah to Zeir Anpin. The numerical value of טלית (with the Kolel) is 450 and it is equal to 10 times the name of Zeir Anpin (שם מה) יוד-הא-ואו-הא.
The Talit should cover at least from the head to the third of the chest (third of Tiferet). Because of that they the aspect of vessel, so women are not required to wear a Talit.
Men, do you wear your wings?

I am a woman and I wear a tallit. Not only men wear tallit while praying.
["They are represented in the Talit, that is the prayer shawl men use during their prayers."]
Dear Neshamah, According to the Holy Ari and the flow of energies, Talit is required for men but in general it is not forbidden for a women to follow a mitzvah that a man does if it is with love and awe to YHVH.

Dear Zion
can you explain us the right and best TIME for us to wear a talit
Chodesh Tov to you, to all the DZ study and to Ám Yisrael
alessandro
The Zohar says “when we can see blue in the sky”, meaning when the light begins to appear in the morning.
This time is called Alot Hashachar.
Check myzmanim.com for exact times for your area. The calculate the time based on the angle of the sun and your location.
Dear Zion,
I am a gentile follower of Yeshua
, and have been told to NOT wear a tallit as it would be offensive to a Jew, so I no longer up my prayer shawl on. Is this correct? I grab crumbs from under the table, and wish to cause no offence.
Dear Bruce, it wouldn’t offend me and I would probably hug you for doing so.
Wearing talit is not a ‘Jewish’ thing. It is in the Torah that is universal. Following the Torah is elevation and only small minded separatist would feel offended.
Some religious people are _____ so avoid these. If there are too many of such in your area then find another place to make your prayers and meditations. No one should stay in a judgmental environment.
If your heart is pure as I can tell then you can do any and every precept that comes from the Torah.
I really loved your answer Zion! That is the real way for UNITY of mankind! Blessings!
Dear Bruce and Zion:
Your exchange of letters is what blesses the world made manifest.

I wear both my wings and crown (d’Rashi and B”H in another week d’Rabbeinu Tam).
I can see the picture of you now in the beautiful city of Tsefat the light is seen in the sky and the sun in about to rise and you are standing with a Talit and Tefilin. pray for all of us my friend.
Baruch lives in the city of the Kabbalists in Israel.
My pleasure, my brother. I just want to be what HaKadosh Baruch Hu created me to be. I recently learned in Kitvei HaAri that we were originally created to have two jobs. 1) To Keep Shabbat and 2) To Pray. This is my ultimate desire.
It is written that if we desire to purify ourselves, that HaKadosh Baruch Hu will help us. This is the reason behind the choice of my second name, Eliezer (My G-d has helped).
