Daily Zohar # 3556 – Beshalach – Don’t kill the priests

Zohar Beshalach
Continued from previous DZ
#120
The man explained to Rabbi Chiya and Rabbi Yossi why the road they just avoided is dangerous. He told them that one time a wise priest and a layman priest were walking together on that road. Suddenly, the layman priest slays the wise priest. From that day on, anyone that passes through that place risks his life because robbers come there to kill and rob people. Those who are aware of the danger, don’t go there.
The Holy One Blessed be He demands the blood of the slain priest every day.

Isaiah 10:32
“As yet he will remain at Nob that day; He will shake his fist at the mount of the daughter of Zion, The hill of Jerusalem.”
He explains that the day in ‘Nob that day’ is the secret of Exodus 6:23
“Aaron took to himself Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, as wife; and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.”
Elisheba that whose name expresses the number seven for the seven sefirot, is the aspect of the Shechina in Malchut. Aaron is her assistant who maintains her house and serves her. He brings her to the King, who is Zeir Anpin so they can connect together.
All priests that serve the Shechina in Holy Temple like Aaron.
#122
Achimelech was a high priest, and the priests that were with him served the Shechina in Malchut. When they were all killed by the order of King Saul, the Shechina was left alone without support to bring her to the unification with Zeir Anpin. Without the support from the Right, she moved to the Left, and judgment increased in the world. King Saul was responsible for the killing of Ahimelech and the priests were killed, and also his sons and many tens of thousands from Israel. The judgment that was caused by the sin of killing the priests was still hanging, until Sennacherib, king of Assyria came and destroyed the Holy Temple.
Lesson;
King Saul suspected that Achimelech, the high priest betrayed him when he met with King David and served him the holy bread from the Temple. For that, King Saul ordered his death together with all the priests that served with him. That act caused a great judgment to hang over King Saul and the Holy Temple.
The priests’ duties were to support the Shechina in Malchut to make unification with Zeir Anpin and draw the light of Mercy and sustenance to the world.
Nowadays we don’t have priests in the Holy Temple to support the high-level unification of Zeir Anpin and Malchut. Instead, we draw Light with our prayers and the studies of the Torah and Zohar. The connection to the sacred text and its studies, compensate on a smaller scale for the absence of the Holy Temple.
On Tuesday we have a special connection to sustenance.
