Zohar Mishpatim
Continued from previous DZ
Leviticus 22:13
“But if the priest’s daughter is a widow or divorced, and has no child, and has returned to her father’s house as in her youth, she may eat her father’s food; but no outsider shall eat it.”
#136
If the soul were corrected, she would return to her father’s house, Malchut, and eat from her father’s bread. She will enjoy that pleasure of the female world, which is the “לחם אבירים” “bread of knights” that comes down from above, from Zeir Anpin. But the soul cannot connect or enjoy what the Tzadikim have because she is considered an ‘outsider,’ as it is written;
Leviticus 22:10
“‘No outsider shall eat the holy offering; one who dwells with the priest, or a hired servant, shall not eat the holy thing.”
Holy offerings (קֹדֶשׁ) is in the male world, and in the world of female, Malchut, she eats a donation offering (תְּרוּמָה).
#137
And because she is from the world of the female, she does not eat except at night, when the Nukva, Malchut, rules, as it is written;
Leviticus 22:7
“And when the sun goes down, he shall be clean; and afterward, he may eat the holy offerings because it is his food.”
Because the Holy offering is from the male world, it is not eaten except during the day, when the control is of the male, which is Zeir Anpin.
That is why it is written;
Jeremiah 2:3
“Israel was holiness to YHVH, The first fruits of His increase. All that devour him will offend; Disaster will come upon them,” says YHVH.’ ”
It is called first because the beginning at the supreme level of the male world is Holy, that is, Father and Mother (Chokmah and Binah), which is the Mochin of Zeir Anpin. From this holiness came up Israel, which is Zeir Anpin, and for this reason, “Israel was holiness to YHVH, The first fruits of His increase.”
