648. מִצַּד הַיָּמִין נִקְרֵאת אֶבֶן. וְכַמָּה אֲבָנִים לַחוֹת יְקָרוֹת נִמְצְאוּ מִמֶּנָּה, שֶׁמִּמֶּנָּה מֵי הַתּוֹרָה יוֹצְאִים. וּבִגְלָלָם נֶאֱמַר, אָמַר רַבִּי עֲקִיבָא לְתַלְמִידָיו: כְּשֶׁתַּגִּיעוּ לְאַבְנֵי שַׁיִשׁ טָהוֹר אַל תֹּאמְרוּ מַיִם מַיִם, שֶׁמָּא תִסְתַּכְּנוּ בְנַפְשְׁכֶם. אַל תֹּאמְרוּ שֶׁהֵם מַיִם, מַיִם מַמָּשׁ, מִשּׁוּם (תהלים קא) דֹּבֵר שְׁקָרִים לֹא יִכּוֹן לְנֶגֶד עֵינָי. שֶׁאֵלּוּ הַמַּיִם זוֹ הַתּוֹרָה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בָּהּ (משלי ו) וְתוֹרָה אוֹר. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁזֶּה הָאוֹר נוֹבֵעַ בִּמְקוֹר הַמַּיִם (ישעיה נח) אֲשֶׁר לֹא יְכַזְּבוּ מֵימָיו, נִקְרָא מַיִם.
649. וּמִצַּד הַשְּׂמֹאל, זוֹ הָאֶבֶן שֶׁהִיא אוֹת י’ – נִקְרֵאת גַּחֶלֶת. וּמִשָּׁם עֶשֶׂר סְפִירוֹת, כְּשַׁלְהֶבֶת קְשׁוּרָה בְּגַחֶלֶת. וְיֵשׁ לָהּ אַרְבָּעָה גְוָנִים, (וַעֲשָׂרָה) וְהֵם: יוֹד הֵא וָאו הֵא. יְהֹוָ”ה. וְהִיא יָד הַגְּדוֹלָה בְּיָמִין, יָד הַחֲזָקָה בִּשְׂמֹאל, הָעַמּוּד הָאֶמְצָעִי, מִשָּׁם הִיא יָד רָמָה, כְּלוּלָה מֵאַרְבָּעִים וּשְׁנַיִם גְּוָנִים.
650. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁהִיא מִצַּד הַיָּמִין – אֶבֶן. וּמִצַּד הַשְּׂמֹאל – גַּחֶלֶת. בָּהּ לוֹקֵחַ הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא נְקָמָה מִיִּשְׁמָעֵאל וֶאֱדוֹם, שֶׁהֵם אִשִּׁים נָכְרִיִּים וּמַיִם הַזֵּידוֹנִים. וְהַמְמֻנִּים שֶׁלָּהֶם – סָמָאֵל וְנָחָשׁ. סָמָאֵל אֵשׁ הַגֵּיהִנָּם, מְמֻנֶּה עַל הָאֻמָּה שֶׁל עֵשָׂו. נָחָשׁ מְמֻנֶּה עַל הָאֻמָּה שֶׁל יִשְׁמָעֵאל, וְהוּא רַהַב הַמְמֻנֶּה עַל הַמַּיִם.

Pinchas 648-650

The Torah comes to the world of Malchut from Zeir Anpin. It is included from Chokmah and Chassadim of the Right column that brings Light. The Light of the Torah is received from the upper unification of Chokmah and Binah flowing down through Zeir Anpin like ever flowing waters. The Hebrew letters of the Torah are called stones because they ‘reconstruct’ the Light from the upper level in Malchut. The letters are the source of the flowing ‘waters’, that is Light.

Proverb 6:23
“כִּי נֵר מִצְוָה, וְתוֹרָה אוֹר”
“For the precept is a candle, and the Torah is light”

Following the precepts of the Torah builds candles, which are the aspect of vessels that receive the Light flowing from the Torah.

Isaiah 58:11
“וְהָיִיתָ, כְּגַן רָוֶה, וּכְמוֹצָא מַיִם, אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יְכַזְּבוּ מֵימָיו”
” and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.”

Our connections to the Torah and the laws make us a channel of Light, like a spring whose water never fails.
