Zohar Mishpatim

Each lifetime comes with many opportunities to correct our souls. We should accept any hardship we experience as a payment/correction for past lives issues. Having an easy life means a hidden tikun. Going through life thinking that God blessed us with material comfort and wealth is a mistake. It’s only a test and most people fail at it. We should push ourselves out of the easy life and comfort zone to find ways of spreading light and doing for others.

Deuteronomy 8:10
“וְאָכַלְתָּ, וְשָׂבָעְתָּ–וּבֵרַכְתָּ אֶת-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, עַל-הָאָרֶץ הַטֹּבָה אֲשֶׁר נָתַן-לָךְ”
“”When you have eaten and are satisfied, you shall bless YHVH your God for the good land which He has given you.”

The Torah teaches us that all things that satisfy us in this world come from God and we should bless everything. The blessing is a form of earning the Light that comes to us through the material things that benefit us.

Everything material in this world is for our temporary use. The material world is a tool used by the physical body to serve the soul when it is used for good. If we have surpluses of money and material things it means that we were given a gift to become a greater channel of light for others.
Some people go to services for a simple reason of making God ‘happy’ with them. In return they expect God’s protection and rewards for their family and business. The Zohar calls them ‘leeches’, screaming like dogs on Yom Kippur asking for food..
“אלא כלהו צווחין בצלותין ביומא דכפורי ככלבים הב הב לנא מזונא וסליחה וכפרה וחיי”

Proverbs 30:15
“לַעֲלוּקָה, שְׁתֵּי בָנוֹת– הַב הַב:
שָׁלוֹשׁ הֵנָּה, לֹא תִשְׂבַּעְנָה; אַרְבַּע, לֹא-אָמְרוּ הוֹן”

“The leech has two daughters, “Give,” “Give.” There are three things that will not be satisfied, Four that will not say, “Enough”:”

“ואינון ערב רב, דכל חסד דעבדין לגרמייהן עבדין,”
“The Erev Rav make acts of Chessed only for their own good.”

People are given the ability to make money (material energy) in this lifetime so they can do more good with it. Some get great spiritual abilities (Spiritual energy). If they miss on the opportunity to share their wealth it becomes their punishment. One may die rich (material or spiritual) but with a serious flaw in his soul. If they merit having another lifetime they may reincarnate as people who are dependent on the charity of others. Some poor people are born feeling its natural to receive but those who misused their wealth are born with difficulties accepting charity and gifts from others. Their soul is in constant lack and pain in this world.

There are people that make good income with surplus but use it for unnecessary luxuries. Irresponsible money spending is considered misusing God’s gifts.

Deuteronomy 32:9
“כִּי חֵלֶק יְהוָה, עַמּוֹ”
“For the portion of YHVH is His people”

We go through many lifetimes and reincarnations for the purpose of bringing our souls as close as possible to YHVH and get attached to the Tree of Life, which is Torah and Zohar. The true and lasting reward is having the merit to be alive in the Final Redemption or resurrect in the Resurrection and achieve Immortality.
