Daily Zohar # 2719 – Acharei Mot – Mother and her vineyard
Zohar Acharei Mot
‘Mother’ is Binah, the supernal mother of the ‘sons’ that are the six sefirot of Zeir Anpin. The ‘Daughter of Zion’ is the Shechina that was ‘casted’ down to exile in Malchut with her ‘sons’ that are the children of Israel. They angered Zeir Anpin and exiled with their mother
“אֵיכָה יָעִיב בְּאַפּוֹ אֲדֹנָי אֶת בַּת צִיּוֹן הִשְׁלִיךְ מִשָּׁמַיִם אֶרֶץ תִּפְאֶרֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא זָכַר הֲדֹם רַגְלָיו בְּיוֹם אַפּוֹ.”
“How the Lord has covered the daughter of Zion With a cloud in His anger! He has cast from heaven to earth The glory of Israel, And has not remembered His footstool In the day of His anger.”
‘They made me caretaker of the vineyards’. The children of Israel are in exile among the nations of the worlds, ‘Vineyards’. The Shechina nourish and care for her sons and the other nations benefit from that.
‘my own vineyard’ is the nation of Israel that while in exile she can’t give full attention to her sons in the Holy Land, through the connection to the Holy Temple.
Malchut is the ‘sister’ of Zeir Anpin and when they ‘dwell together in unity’ (#58, 59, DZ 2717), they can connect together to their Mother and Father, which is Binah and Chokmah.
