Continued from previous studies
The root of the beginning comes from the Light of Atika Kadisha that draw the Light from Mazala, which is the Concealed Chokmah that spread to 32 paths. This light becomes three heads of Keter, Chokmah, Binah and the unification of the two as Da’at. These three are called ‘Chabad’ for their initials. They spread to Zeir Anpin and their light is revealed in all the levels below them as explained ahead.
Chokmah brought out a ‘river’ (of Light) that is Binah. The upper ‘vessel’ of Chokmah was formed from supernal Keter and in turn had to ‘create’ the vessel of Binah to be able to continue the Light received from Keter. During the formation of the ten Sefirot, Malchut was elevated to Binah to ‘taste’ its light and adopt the shape of Binah’s vessel. This process was made so Malchut would be able to receive the higher light. For that reason, Binah and Malchut represented by the same letter, ה H. Without this ‘affinity’, Malchut wouldn’t be able to receive and or hold the Light of Chokmah and Binah.
The Torah reveals this process in Genesis 2:10
“וְנָהָרּ יֹצֵא מֵעֵדֶן לְהַשְׁקוֹת אֶת הַגָּן וּמִשָּׁם יִפָּרֵד וְהָיָה לְאַרְבָּעָה רָאשִׁים”
“Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers.”
The Light that came from Chokmah formed the Right column that starts from Chokmah into Chessed, the head of Zeir Anpin.
Binah became the Left column of the head of Zeir Anpin
During the process of Malchut leving Binah of her way down, the Light of Chokmah of the 32 paths continued into the head of Zeir Anpin and formed the Left column with the Light of Binah. Then the light of the middle line of Zeir Anpin unified the Right and Left lines that came from Chokmah and Binah to form the Light of Da’at that fills the entire ‘body’ of Zeir Anpin.
“בְּחָכְמָה, יִבָּנֶה בָּיִת; וּבִתְבוּנָה, יִתְכּוֹנָן”
“וּבְדַעַת, חֲדָרִים יִמָּלְאוּ– כָּל-הוֹן יָקָר וְנָעִים”
“By wisdom(Chokmah) a house is built, And by understanding (Binah) it is established”
“And by knowledge (Da’at) the rooms (vessels) are filled With all precious and pleasant riches (Lights).”
