“Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to YHVH our God, Until He is gracious to us.”
‘as the eyes of servants’ refers to the ministers of the 70 nations that can be nourished on from Zeir Anpin. When the Israelites connect and draw blessings from Zeir Anpin, all the nations of the world benefit from it.

‘As the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress’, the maidservant is the aspect of the forces of the other-side that God killed in Egypt as we read in Exodus 11:5
“and every firstborn son in the land of Egypt will die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the maidservant behind the handmill, as well as the firstborn of all the cattle.”
The force of the ‘maidservant’ is drawn from the land of Israel that is the ‘mistress’, Malchut.
Proverbs 30:22
“Under a slave servant when he becomes king, And a fool when he is satisfied with food,”
The ‘slave servant’ that becomes a king is the aspect of one of the seventy nations that were permitted to govern over Israelites.
It says Exodus 20:2
“I am YHVH your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.”
YHVH took us out of the control of Egypt, where we were slaves to another nation. When the Israelites are under the control of other nations it is the aspect of (Proverbs 30:23) “וְשִׁפְחָה כִּי תִירַשׁ גְּבִרְתָּהּ”, “a maidservant when she displaces her mistress”

From the side of the ‘maidservant’ comes out judgment forces against Israel. The Holy One Blessed be He wants to protect us from any harm like a father protects his children. He tells us to connect to him by following the Torah so he can protect us from the ‘outside’, like forming a wall of protection around us, blocking the negative forces from coming into our homes and during the night into our beds to draw from our light.
Lesson;
The Israelites with the Torah are channels of light to the world. Israelites and Jews dominate the world news, even if they are a minority because they are very important for this world and all know it at the subconscious level. The hate against Israelites rises when they go against the ways of the Torah. Some of them ‘partner’ with the other side with the desire to control the world and inherit the ‘mistress’.
We are in the state of exile and under the control of ‘Egypt’ that represent the seventy nations of the world. We are scattered all over the earth to channel light, to preserve us because if we were all in one place, the other-side would use all his efforts to eradicate us from the world and inherit our ‘firstborn’ rights.
The first commandment tells us “I am YHVH your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, You shall have no other gods before me” and we are told by the sages to remember every day that God took us out of Egypt.
No matter how good we feel in life, we are still in darkness and we will see the Light only when YHVH takes us again out of Egypt and at this time it will be forever.
