Rabbi Moshe Nehemiah Kahanov (1817 - 18 Sivan, 31 May 1887) was a Belarusian rabbi. Rabban of Petrovich and Haselwitz, and at the end of his life the head of the Etz Chaim yeshiva in Jerusalem
Rabbi Yaakov Chaim Sofer (Hebrew: יעקב חיים סופר) was a Sephardi Rabbi, Kabbalist, Talmudist and posek. He is the author of Kaf Hachaim, a work of halakha that he came to be known by.
Rabbi Yisroel ben Shmuel Ashkenazi of Shklov (c. 1770 – May 22, 1839) was a Talmudist, one of a group of Talmudical scholars of Shklov who were attracted to Vilna by Rabbi Elijah ben Solomon Zalman, known as the Vilna Gaon (1720–97). He was one of "the last arrivals," and attended upon the Gaon as a disciple for less than a year.
