1 Kings 19:11
“וַיֹּאמֶר צֵא וְעָמַדְתָּ בָהָר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וְהִנֵּה יְהוָה עֹבֵר וְרוּחַ גְּדוֹלָה וְחָזָק מְפָרֵק הָרִים וּמְשַׁבֵּר סְלָעִים לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לֹא בָרוּחַ יְהוָה וְאַחַר הָרוּחַ רַעַשׁ לֹא בָרַעַשׁ יְהוָה.”
“So He said, “Go forth and stand on the mountain before YHVH.” And behold, YHVH was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before YHVH, but YHVH was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but YHVH was not in the earthquake.”
The ‘strong wind’ comes out from Tohu, where we have the name שדי. For that, the verse says ‘but YHVH was not in the wind’.
‘but YHVH was not in the earthquake’ – The YHVH name is not in the force that shakes the earth because it has the name ‘צבאות’ (‘Hosts’ , ‘Armies’).
The Human body has three main parts; the head that is Chokmah, Binah and Da’at. The second part is the torso up to the naval for the sefirot of Chessed, Gevurah, and Tiferet. The third part is from the naval down for Netzach, Hod and Yessod.
Chokmah and Binah are Right and Left, Da’at is the center. Chessed and Gevurah are Right and Left and Tiferet are at the center. Netzach and Hod are Right and Left and Yessod are at the center.
Each of the three sefirot at the center, Da’at, Tiferet and Yessod have the aspect of male and female. Y י of the name for the Right, Hה of the name for the Left and VH וה for the center.
The three parts, Head, Body and Legs with the four letters of the name on each part adds to twelve that represent the holy name of twelve letters. This name was given to Elijah the prophet in the cave. (The Zohar doesn’t specify the name of 12 letters).
“וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים יְהִי אוֹר וַיְהִי אוֹר.”
“Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”
This is the first saying of God in the process of Creation and it comes after the creation of heaven and earth. The Torah begins with “In the beginning, God created heaven and earth” without detailing the process of how they were created. Then it starts with the 10 saying of God (ELHYM) that Created everything in the material world. The Torah doesn’t reveal to us the actual beginning.
The light of the Endless spreads into the supernal palace that is the secret of the name אֱלֹהִים, ELHYM. It gives the name the power of voice/‘saying’, needed for the creation process. The ‘expression’ of the voice created order in the world that was in a state of ‘formless and void’.
