Zohar Vayakhel

#95
The fish that swallowed Jonah died and Jonah was inside his belly for three days. Then the fish came back to life and vomited Jonah out.
Jonah 2:2
“וַיִּתְפַּלֵּל יוֹנָה אֶל יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו מִמְּעֵי הַדָּגָה.”
“Then Jonah prayed to YHVH his God from the fish’s belly.”

In the same aspect, the Land of Israel, will come back to life, heal and resurrect the dead with merits.

#96
There are seven judgments that the dead experience when he leaves the world. 1. The judgment of death, 2. His words and actions are announced ahead of him. 3. Entering the grave. 4. Judgment in the grave 5. The judgment executed by the worms that break down and rot the body. 6. Judgment process in hell. 7. The judgment of the spirit that travels the world without rest.

Lesson;
The judgments that the person goes through upon death are very difficult. Two angels bring the dead to life and he feels everything he is beaten with metal chains to disconnect him from the desire to be in his body.
We should always be ready for the day of death to save us the painful judgment after death. In older times, righteous people were digging their own graves and visit it frequently to remember that one day, they will die and be buried.

I’m sorry for not expanding on this interesting/scary process. I have some fever and headaches (No Coronavirus symptoms).
Because of the Coronavirus situation, I don’t go to my day job and I stay at home. I hope to feel good about studying and write more, B”H.
