Zohar Emor

#101
King David is the chariot for Malchut and as such, he is the best one to praise the Holy King with songs and have unification with Zeir Anpin.

#102
Psalms 27:8
“לְךָ אָמַר לִבִּי בַּקְּשׁוּ פָנָי אֶת פָּנֶיךָ יְהוָה אֲבַקֵּשׁ.”
“When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, YHVH, I will seek.””
The Zohar brings another explanation to this verse and tells us that ‘Seek my Face’ is an invitation from YHVH to connect to Zeir Anpin (literally means ‘small face’) on days of the holidays. During these days Malchut can ascend to the upper three sefirot of Zeir Anpin that are Chessed, Gevurah, and Tiferet of Zeir Anpin. This level is called ‘Holy’ because the upper three of Zeir Anpin receive the light of holiness from Father and Mother above.
Leviticus 23:2
“דַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם מוֹעֲדֵי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ אֵלֶּה הֵם מוֹעֲדָי.”
““Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘These feasts of YHVH, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.”
‘Holy convocations’ is the aspect of the holidays and events during the year when we are able to connect and receive the Holy light.

#103
Rabbi Aba says that ‘These feasts of YHVH’ refers to the holidays of Passover that is Right and Chessed. Sukkot is Left and Gevurah, and Shavuot is Center and Tiferet. They bring the Light from Chokmah (Father) and Binah (Mother) to Zeir Anpin.
The Light from the supernal Father and Mother that brings holiness to Zeir Anpin has the aspect of eating and when this light continues down it has the aspect of drinking wine.
Receiving the Light in Malchut has the aspect of the meal and it is called the “Queen’s Feast” because the Holiness from the supernal King that is food and drinks comes down to nourish and strengthen the Queen in Malchut.

Lesson;
We ‘upgrade’ the meals of Shabbat and Holidays to support the connection to the holiness we receive on these days.
Shabbat is our best holiday because we are able to connect to holiness every week.
The meals of Shabbat and holidays help us manifest the light revealed on the spiritual level to the material level
We make three meals on Shabbat that have the aspect of “Holy, Holy, Holy” (Daily Zohar # 3336 – Emor – Three steps to holiness).
Each meal connects us to a different spiritual level and the Zohar explains it in Zohar Yitro from paragraph #444 on.
We read these Zohar texts during the three meals to establish a better connection. See the PDF below.
It’s good to prepare a nice dinner table for Shabbat with a special table cover, preferably white or light color. The food to be prepared with the consciousness that is made for the holiness of Shabbat. Two Challahs, cover, Kiddush cup, Plates, flatware, and anything on the table should be as it was prepared for the most honorable guest.
