Zohar Bahaalotcha
#78
In the middle column, the vessel, a woman, purified herself with the water of the Mikveh that is Right. She sanctified herself and then unified with her husband.
The utensils for Passover need to be purified from the energy attached to it before using them during the holiday. Utensils that were used for cold food can be purified by immersing them in cold water.
Souls from the side of mercy, righteous. compassionate, kind, and sharing are purified in cold water. Souls in the middle are purified with warm water, but the wicked that follow the evil inclination that is fire can be purified with boiling water.
Numbers 31:23
“כָּל דָּבָר אֲשֶׁר יָבֹא בָאֵשׁ תַּעֲבִירוּ בָאֵשׁ וְטָהֵר אַךְ בְּמֵי נִדָּה יִתְחַטָּא וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר לֹא יָבֹא בָּאֵשׁ תַּעֲבִירוּ בַמָּיִם.”
“everything that endures fire, you shall put through the fire, and it shall be clean; and it shall be purified with the water of purification. But all that cannot endure fire you shall put through water.”

If the soul is gross and materialistic, then like earthenware (crockery), they can be purified only by breaking them.
Psalms 51:19
“זִבְחֵי אֱלֹהִים רוּחַ נִשְׁבָּרָה לֵב נִשְׁבָּר וְנִדְכֶּה אֱלֹהִים לֹא תִבְזֶה.”
“The sacrifices for God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.”
Those who are dedicated to the study of the Torah on all levels are purified by its light.
Proverbs 6:23
“כִּי נֵר מִצְוָה וְתוֹרָה אוֹר”
“For the commandment is a candle, And the Torah is light”
Lesson;
“כָּל הַמֵּשִׂים רֶוַח בֵּין הַדְּבֵקִים מְצַנְּנִין לוֹ גֵּיהִנֹּם.”
The Zohar refers to the Talmud (Berachot 15 b) that says ;
“Anyone who recites Shema and is punctilious in enunciating its letters, Gehenna is cooled for him”
The Shema prayer is one of the most important prayers that creates unification of the worlds above and below. Usually, our prayers make unification between Malchut and Zeir Anpin, but the Shema prayer goes higher above to Chokmah and Binah. When we recite the prayer properly we form the ultimate unification that purifies us on high levels and cleanses a lot of our sins.
Those who can’t read Hebrew can scan the sacred text at a slow pace as if they read every letter. Reading or scanning Zohar is not about the number of pages, but a quality connection. Every letter and word is like an angel that connects us spiritually. It is better to read little and slow rather than fast and ‘blurry’.

There is a Japanese tradition that is called “Kintsugi”. When a precious vessel is broken, they mend it with gold and other methods that elevate its value.
Our soul is very precious to God. He created it and when we come to him in a broken state, he mends all the pieces by surrounding them with his Light.
The meditation to use when reciting the Shema is to accept the four types of death and nullify ourselves. With that meditation, we are able to make the ultimate unification.
